Looking good not sure on the number plate surround behind the number plate

yeah, its a common practice that a dealer puts his own number plate holder with his name on it. Anyway, i might get it off, but than i have to mount the numberplate (the one you can see is just temporary) with some kind of tape or to drill trough the number plate (which is slightly illegal around here :roll

Nice car, red looks amazing. Would look insane with White wheels. That square reg plate would really annoy me would have to get one to fit it properly.

But yesterday I was totally exhausted, so I am planning taking it for a proper drive today...

So far I love the stiffness of the ride (i expected it to be more unpleasant on our bad roads, but its not that harsh at all) and the fact there is no leaning (not sure about the expression ) or body roll.

Cannot say much about the engine, have to run it in properly first... But what I know is that sooner or later I will have to change the gear knob, since the OEM plastic one feels like its gonna stay in my hand at one moment

Looks really good! I always like the look and smell of a new factory Renault sport Twingo fresh out of the factory.... nice blacked out number plate recess and the new mirrors look great! I like the standard gear knob tho... has a good "feel" slim.

First wheel (front right) has been kerbed today. On a roundabout :shock: I wasnt even speeding or going on the limit, normal, slightly faster go through a roundabout and there it goes... Tyres are at correct pressure, i checked it afterwards. Made me quite unhappy and thinking what will happen under full load? :roll:

Went on dyno yesterday. Final numbers are ok, the graph of power and torque is acceptable as well.
131,3 PS (96,6 kW) @6875, 157,8 Nm @4475, max revs 6995

Decided to finally try to fit in RS Monitor. First step was to choose and buy a new head unit, since a new RS display would not work with my non-bt oem unit and i didnt want to spent that extra cash on oem BT unit... Now i will order the new display and find some Clip man who hopefully will get it work

Heh, "some" time passed by since I visited here

For past two years Twingo rests in a garage and get occasional run...

I try to keep it in OEM condition when possible, but it is very hard, since its a HUUUGE problem to get hold of some parts, and if so, to pay horrible sums for OEM stuff.

This week, I failed MOT with idle emissions... Backbox is rusted. Tried to order an OEM one for 382,- EUR, but order was rejected since it is produced no more... I mean, for 10y old car, wtf...

So I have to go aftermarket... Ended up ordering cat-back Scorpion.

Few photos from track day on a former go-cart track. Had a blast... Twingo went without any doubts, apart from friends bmws who fried brakes and had some exhaust problems.
