Hi, my twingo 3 has an intermittent issue where it will crank but not start, but only once, then any further attempts and it won't even crank. Once bumped it will fire right up and drive perfectly sometimes for weeks until eventually it repeats the problem out of the blue. Any ideas? Thanks

How old is the battery? I'd start there, by checking if the battery good enough and check all the battery connections and the earth.

Before it has the intermittent issue have you moved it a short distance without getting it 'warm'? I find if I have done that it floods something (carburetter?) and I have to keep my foot on the accelerator and keep turning it on. Eventually it will start up. Mine is a Twingo 2 RS133.

These are injection engines and not carbs. I’d say for this issue sounds like an injector problem. Diagnostics may show an issue up as not all faults triggered result in engine light coming on. Minor issues are just stored on there till you scan them.

Defo battery issue I’d say. After that, starter motor or alternator.
