Hi All,

Looking for my first twingo!

Currently searching like mad to find the right car for me, looking for a preferably black twingo GT.
want reasonably low mileage, below 30k really (does depend on how much I like the car..)
Don't want too much work to have been done on the car as I'm looking forward to doing that myself! If you or know of anyone that are thinking of selling their twingo give me a heads up. Looking in the price range of £4000-£5000 if that can get me a reasonable car! ;)

There seem to be a few on autotrader that match your requirements, but aren't black, but most of the black ones appear to be in the up to 40K mileage category.

You dead set on black?

I got mine in Southampton luckily, would be tempted to sell tbh, been looking at bikes recently but then again insurance is a joke.

Well not dead set as such, I'm going to be a sucker when I go to see the first car.. Going to struggle to walk away! I will be happy with most colors except silver really! If your interested in selling PM me at some point with some details.. :)

Silver doesn't look as good on the GT, I think with black or another color (stand out) the GT can be made to look far more aggressive ;)

Is 4-5k too little to find a good twingo GT? the capsicum red is nice but there's hardly any for sale!

I paid £4399 for mine with 29k miles on the clock. I was so deperate I had it delivered to Swansea from liverpool from Renault. So basically I baught it without seeing the bodywork. A risk that should never be done again. XD

Also I regret getting a black one. I saw a white twingo the other day, not sure if it was a gt or not, but it look very good.

I've seen both, if you have black and loose the silver parts so its all blacked out it looks great! I've been looking on auto trader but nothing nice is coming up really, worth asking on here because everyone has nice twingos! ;)

I think the black ones look good keeping the silvers parts, makes it look a bit different, all black would look good but may be a bit much, I've debated doing it but cba.

Well see how far I get carried away when I get one, had a little go on photoshop and think it would look great if you had some of the GT badges sprayed up a lime green sort of colour with the black! I'm getting too carried away with this already :(

a couple of people have photoshopped green parts on there twingo and it doesnt look too great

Okay cheers guys, will probably just keep it simple when I get the car, no point in planning too far ahead :) don't want it to look chavy at all!

Keep it simple is best way to go, twingo looks good as it is, no need to change it, just need to find a car! Waiting is killing me

Some minor changes look good, wheels and lowering for sure, ride height as standard is comparible to a John Deere and the standard GT alloys are ******* hideous imo.

Well I'm 100% going to lower it change the alloys, thinking clio 182's alloys sprayed up black.. But might keep some of the silved bits
