So guys I’ve been having a think about my twingo. I’m not sure weather to carry on upgrading it or to buy a different car.
My car:
Twingo GT 1.2T
Current mods:
Monza RS alloys
K&N air filter
Straight pipe exhaust (Still have the cat near the manifold)
Front mount intercooler
Manual boost control
Boost gauge
Lowering springs
Black badges
Battery relocation
Stage 2 Clutch
Lots more little bits but they are the mains
Mods I’m considering doing next (In order)
182 injectors
Remap
Coilovers
So I’m wondering if it’s going to be worth me spending even more money on it. I hear the internals can take around 150-160BHP. Does anybody know if anyone has exceeded that BHP mark and what sort of 0-60 time I’m looking at? Or maybe what other mods can be suggested. I’m not going to even bother forging it as in my eyes it’s a waste of time for a 1.2. I may as well get a bigger engined car that it’s internals can take a lot more. I want a car that I can get below 0-60 in under 6 (maximum)
I’ve been looking around at cars and I’ve been considering a few
Audi A4 Avant
Honda Civic EP3 (Not a VTEC nut so it will be turbo converted )
Mazda mps 3
What’s everyone opinions on what I should do? I’ve spent enough time and money on the twingo but am I actually going to gain a lot? The top end is absolutely ****. I’ve had 126 out of it and that was down a hill.
