maggi, servicing is around the £250 mark, thats not expensive either coz it cost my dad £200 just for the parts and i had to get the aircon re gassed on top of that aswell

For which service is that?

Fair enough, I expected anything with a renaultsport badge to be pretty expensive. For essentially a hyped up oil change it does seem like a lot though!

Used to it with merc rates though :p

I think it's changed over time.

Ours is a 59 plate and it has a supplement in the service manual that says for a 1.6 Renaultsport Twingo it is 2 years or 12.5K miles

cam belt in 22k then :( nice if some aftermarket stronger belts come out with some lighter pulleys :D

If you dont have your car serviced when done you will lose warrenty! They let you off if its just over but not it if stupidly over

That's not true, mate. Only if lack of servicing is the DIRECT cause of the fault, would warranty not have to cover it (unless a different 'external factor' causes the fault).

The service includes a health check. Without that I'm sure Renault would wiggle out of a claim with no problem

Reading on here that all you RS133Twingo owners have 12,000 annual service intervals; yet the paperwork with my Wind 1.6 133vvt (eg exactly the same engine/gearbox/chassis so far as I know) tells me it's every 2 years or 18,000 miles !

How can they be so different?

For twingo models built after about march 09 they changed the service intervals from 1year/~12K to 2years/~12K

I remember reading they were changing again somewhere too

Anyone know what point 1 (Renault Service) includes? My GFs RS's 3yr service is due and I'm wondering if it makes sense to do it at Renault (which is obviously going to be more expensive), if it's basically an oil change (cabin filter was done in April).

It'll give you a list of everything in the manual, bit isn't it also air filter, spark plugs etc?

Because the Wind is not an RS (even though it has many components in common with the RS).

I'll be servicing mine yearly....

it will be 72k but mine was done at 36k so got 70k to go

I thought mine was early... 2,5 year and 90k (kilometers)

i had an oil leak from the kam cover gasket so they did the belt when they fixed the leak

Ok, thanks for your response!

Performing a service on my GT soon, Also going to be fitting the K-Tec braided lines. How much brake fluid to I need to drain/fill the system?

My cover also leaked, was fixed with new bolts. That was at 6k

No leaks since.

I've now come to the opinion that 12500 between oil changes is a little too far. So will be getting it serviced early
