Twingo rs cup not starting

I was driving my twingo the other day pulled over to go in the shop then went to start the car but nuffink accept a click and a loud beep and spanner lite coming up the car has been working fine then it done this all sudden garage couldn’t work out what was wrong with it hopefully some one can help thanks
