you are better off buying a tdi if you want high mpg and drive like a saint. if not the a rs only be decent if you stay around 2-3k rpm same with all cars so if you have a heavy foot then insurace and tax, tyres will be your problem as any car you drive will like you stole it wont achieve good mpg. my 2pence.
