I wondered if anybody could helpi have a two year old twingo that just likes to leak my boot and spare wheel well have been full time after time my seats are soaking all of the time with it. I was wondering if anybody else had a similar problem ????

Firstly, welcome

I haven't had the problem, but I beleive the Mk2 Clios were prone to it. Where from, or why it happens I'm not sure. Some of the longer term Renault owners will shed some light on it soon.

Hi fella, welcome.

Yeah I've had the same issue ever since I bought mine second hand, never really done much about it with it collecting in the spare wheel well, I just dry it out quite regular. Personally I think it's the weather strip on the back window, I was going to use a clear sealant to boost it a bit but not bothered yet.

If you haven't already then take your boot carpet out til you sort if coz it will stink the car out!

Ive not come across the issue yet but could be the boot seal?

Boot deal or possibly rear washer.

Welcome. As others have said - sounds like first place to look is around the boot seal area.

I had a search last night.

Boot seal
Light clusters
Rear accident damage not repaired/sealed

A dusting of talcum powder on the rear and sides of the boot floor was mentioned to show where the leak was coming from if theres nothing obvious, as the water will leave a visible mark where it runs in.

It's been back in through the warranty loads of times with no success ive just gotten it back and surprise surprise it's wet again they have had about twelve attempts at fixing it .... I'm starting to get really cheesed !
