Been looking for some 205s for the Twingo - noticed there's a considerable difference in price between the same model tyre, but with different speed ratings. Anyone know why this would be? E.g.

Conti CSC5 W - 514 PLN
Conti CSC2 V - 580 PLN

And I think it's usually the other way around than I'd expect it ti be - i.e. would have thought higher speed rating = more expensive. Not so.

V tyres are up to 149mph
W tyres are up to 168mph

You want v as I'm sure w will cost more and you dont need them

As I've written - the Ws are cheaper.

That's because one is a sport contact 2 and one is a sport contact 5.
