When you've had a drive tell me what it feels like, I'm so tempted to get a K-Tec Catback, induction kit and a remap it's unreal.
 
Just so you know dude, and not being a cock here but any reverse light that is not pure white light is illegal and will void your insurance if it was an diy mod, should the police pull you for a test of lights, new regulation coming into force in 2012 with the dip beam day lights states that the police from august or therabouts will have the power to include a roadside check of all lights including reverse, and will carry a 3 point fixed penalty. At renault, we have lots of boy racer renaults come in with police fines needing stamped after we replaced their rear clusters......
 
Its all about the graphs and whos rollers? As im sure your aware some companys have generous rollers

Hi all i understand that claims are nothing without graphs here are the graphs i went to RS Tuning leeds to get this done and in total paul had about 8 different maps for my car and we settled on one in the end, which after three test drives he tweaked even more!

The car feels ALOT better with a much smoother torque deliver and a hell of alot more powerful! Another thing to note is the idle was raised by 100rpm as he found that it idles very low causing the car to cut out at time when firing it up, after the idle was raised there was no hesistation in starting it up but i will report back on this after a few weeks!


EDIT: JE, Paul said the KTR cat back was really strong and did well, out of my own experience and mine alone i'd reccomend it 100%, other members may have had issues in the past with them but i have absolutely none, the issue with it hitting the rear bumper was solely down to it not being fitted correctly.

You'd never regret a remap i'll do my best to attend the next meet and i can take you out for a run in mine so you can feel the difference as well :), unless you're local to leicester ;)
 
Paul does do wonders with Renaults and his Rollers are good and not one of the generous rollers so if i was you id be more then happy with the results.
 
How much was the remap and RR waitey?

Out of interest also how much were the 172 injectors + fitting.
Ive had previous experience of paul remapping my old 172, tempted to get the Gordini tinkered with now.

I'm over the moon went in expecting 120bhp came out with just over 130bhp and running smooth.

If anyone writes of RS tuning because of the price you're mental. They are worth the money and I would recommend them to anyone who asks, plus Paul seemed glad he got the pfc where the megane was in without anything spilt over it and in perfect condition ;)

Edit: was supposed to be 425+vat but only paid £449 all together took about 4 1/2 hours work with re before and after each map and 3 test runs

Edit of an edit: injectors were £40 which included fuel rail which was too big lol.

JE on the next meet if it's within an hours drive I'll come if your ever in the midlands give me a shout ;)

that should make it a different car to drive :)

Good increase in mid range torque should mean less need to down shift when you want to accelerate.
 
Dubz the clutch is all good and isn't showing any signs of slipping and Paul took it out twice on his own so he can make sure everything was how it should be with no faults.

Neil, it feels like I upgraded the car again! It really is amazing how different it feels.
