What Car's target price for the 133 before extras is £12,814 (With list price being £13,565).

Sod it. Get a pre-registered Wind 133 and have over £3k in change. You'll have to suffer not having back seats, but on the plus side you get cheaper insurance, as it's not classed as an RS. :D

Very smooth there  not officially an RS but has the same engine, same chassis, same suspension.. and when the roof is down, instead of a backseath you have a million miles of open space to look at :p

I have a little soft spot for the wind

Maybe when they hit £2k ill bag one 'for Carrie'

With the twingo not too far behind it! £5k hit in 12 months or so from list. Or there abouts

Sorry guys but I'm not a fan of the wind :( I like them to look at (don't find them too offensive to the eyes!) but I wouldn't own one myself ...

I'm going back in to Renault tomorrow night after work to 'discuss' what price he'll give me for my car and what price I'll get the twingo for if I go for it. Hopefully I should be able to haggle him down a bit :p I'm not afraid to hold back with what I'm saying so if I'm not happy with the prices he'll hear me!

try lookers renault, gave me a great deal. i made the mistake of having a-c/cc, automatic wipers, auto lights bluetooth, etc... my 133 only has the standard stuff ( quite a lot actually ) got the cup pack thrown in for cut price too. all the extras put the price of a norm twingo to the price of a 133.

still get it cheaper then that too i think.

When I got my fiesta I just kept saying it was to much on the monthly payments. Pushing it 4 times worked and managed to snag a load off the price and some freebies like paint protection (didn't want it but oh well)

If you've told them how much you want to pay per month, or what your 'limit' is, find another dealer and start again.

No matter how much you think you've haggled them down, you'll end up paying the exact same total amount based purely on that monthly figure you gave them at the start.

Rule #1, never ever tell them how much you can afford. Just ask them what the best deal is, then tell them it's too much, then tell them it's too much again.

Nah, never gave them a limit figure just said that I wanted to work out a good deal and if the price was right I would consider ordering a new car, the salesmen has phoned about 6 times since Sunday asking us when we will be going back up. Was originally meant to be going back up tonight but forgot I had football and by the time I was home from football it was too late to head up. Gonna take a drive up tomorrow and try squeeze a good deal out of him :p

Good stuff, sounds like he really wants to make a sale, perfect situation for a bargain!
