Some great car histories on this site! I'd love to see some of the interesting cars you all had

My list is a bit more dull. owned some at the same time so its a bit out of order. passed 5 years ago.

1994 renault 5 campus - shared with my brother who then killed it.
1999 renault clio 1.2 grande - first real car, survived 3 glastonburys (stuck twice, rescued by a tractor once)
1996 citroen saxo 1.4 sx - total beast, surprisingly nice to drive and it had a FIN!!
2004 renault clio 1.2 dynamique - nudged it into a fiesta and it came to uni... survived many wingmrirror kicks, wiper lifts etc
1999 renault clio grande (different one) bought for my gf's 21st.. proper bargain!
2006 ford ka - owned for 2 weeks decent car, but given at a loss to my mum when she crashed hers.
2009 renault twingo 1.2 extreme - brilliant solid car - bad luck at the mo, but i'l stick with it.

most recent purchase 1997 peugeot 306 1.4 with 157k on the clock - dad has just retired and likes fixing up cars but hasnt had time to for years... this was a rather odd birthday present bought by the whole family (£275) obviously no profit going to be made with those miles.. but the history is amazing! new clutch, cambelt, head gasket within the last ten k!

I still have the Megane and the Twingo obviously. You may have noticed a slight patern to my car history with one VW chucked in for good measure haha.

If you mean the "Co-operative" Renault dealer, yes I did. It sat on the forecourt for MONTHS and they reduced it about 4 times.

2006 - 2008 - yamaha moped 50cc 40mph everywhere lol
2008 - 2010 - Clio 1.2 (black,black alloys, lowered, tints) engine was fooked by the end but forgot to mention when i traded that in.
2010 - 2010 - Yamaha Thunderace 1003cc - Rocketship on wheels had to sell before i killed myself
2010 - 2012 - Twingo 133 cup
2013 - who knows 2.0 perhaps

Passed my test 2010:

2003 (52 plate) Renault Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique - owned for about 11 months whilst doing lessons and ran for a few months when I passed my test.

2010 (59 plate) Renault Clio 1.2 TCE Dynamique - Owned for just short of 2 years, was only a year old when I bought it. Done a couple of mods to it
Standard:

Year & a half later, with 45mm lowering springs, 20mm rear spacers, black badges, silvervisions all round, shorter aerial, yellow fogs + other bits & pieces:

2010 (60 plate) Renaultsport Twingo 133 FF+Cup pack - current car and I love it! As said already, very nippy, fun to drive and cheap to insure, it's my baby!

White Skoda is my dad's Octavia VRS "Blackline" edition (inc. full leater, sat nav, parking sensors, black alloys with 2.0 TDI 170)

Nothing overly exciting but there you go!

Peugeot 306 tdi sport, After 4 driveshafts worked out previous owner had an argument with a motorway reservation fixed it and sold to the local chinese owner, discount for life

Ford puma 1.7 vct, what i thought was a quick powerfull car with great handling couldnt fault it (apart from the rusty arches)

Bought the wife a Renault megene 1.6 tom tom dynamique when she got pregnant. great car all the extras lovely to drive

Got new car envy went to dealers in the january told him what i wanted and in the march i finally settled on my
Renaultsport Twingo 133 with cup chassis and pretty much every extra you could have, and then realised the puma was a shed, the twingo put it to shame the power and handling are fantastic and the little green light is so much fun to find!!! got my eyes set on the megane rs next ( not allowed the clio lol)

1990 - Renault 19 GTS - Nice car only lasted 18 months, tired of reliability issues
1993 - Rover 214i
1997 - Fiat Cinquecento Sporting
1997 - Rover 414i
2001 - Honda Accord Sport 1.8i VTEC - supremely reliable car, Honda bug caught
2003 - Renaultsport Clio 172 - Filter, exhaust, remap added during ownership, cracking car
2005 - Honda Civic Type R EP3 - Ridiculously good, but poor wet/cold handling, snappy back end
2005 - Renaultsport Clio 182 Cup - Still going strong, daily driver
2010 - Renaultsport Twingo RS133 Gordini - Still have this too, another daily driver, great bang per buck

2006-2007 Yamaha Neos 50cc Scooter! De-restricted wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey :lol: :roll:

2007-2008 Corsa B 1.2 Pink (otherwise known as red)

2008-2010 Saxo Westcoast 1.4 - Loved this car until it all went wrong and was spending hundreds every month or two to keep it on the road. This went on for a year and gave up...never ending! If I had my own place at the time would of loved to keep it though as a lil project

2010-2012 Renault Clio i-music 1.2 - Excellent car compared to what I had previously but it was like trying to get blood from a stone when pressing the accelerator.....

2012-present Twingo 133 ff+cup pack. Apart from a few problems I've loved every minute of owning the car. Rather optimistic what the costs will be like keeping it going in the future.

Currently subject to a few 'minor' mods inc a zetec turbo build and a fully stripped out interior

Started in 2010 (I think)

Opel corsa 1.6 ( not a bad first car but was annoying as hell and unfortunately got written off by someone on Xmas day)

Renault Clio RXE 1.6 - again not a bad car but it was French and damn loud! Drove others up the wall

Currently - Renault twingo GT and Jaguar X-type 3.0 sport

Twingo is a great little car and amazing thing for some fun!! Comfortable as hell.
The jag, crazily expensive to run but worth it!! Although currently off road having a lot of work done

2009 - First ever car ford KA, survived alot of shit driving, knocks ditches. Broke the rear right spring, front right spring, clutch, destroyed the brakes, lower arms disintegrated, shocks went, exhaust had a massive hole in, stupidly big sub in the rear boot but it still managed to reach 110 down a very long hill!

2010 - twingo GT, grew up more with this one with sensible modifications and only drive it pushed in the dry, no issues with it so far except my lead foot leading to 30mpg average

Next car - unsure, probably jump on the jap wagon my brother in laws EP3 has taken my fancy so when that's for sale ill probably try buy it off him, either that or an S2000 as they are well priced now.

Well priced, but say hello to stupid insurance prices

Passed my test 2009:

1. - 07/2009-11/2009 Arden Blue Corsa B, 1.4 8v (1998) - first car, where the bug first bit, had a 3" outward rolled Peco and was lowered 60mm on standard shocks and 13" steels! that found it's way into the middle of a field after rolling it a 'couple' of times...

2. - 12/2009-01/2010 White Corsa B, 1.4 16v (2000) - Bought this already modified, 16" alloys, lowered, calibra leathers and a stupidly loud exhaust, Insurance told me i'd get insurance with it, bought it, then they told me that their records shown it was insured previously with a bodykit (which was gone) so they wouldn't insure me, i went mental...

3. - 03/2010-10/2011 - 01/2012-08/2012 Arden Blue Corsa B, 1.2 16v (2000) - This was easily the best car i've ever had, bought it standard bar Mk3 Astra GSI alloys and a 3" Outward rolled backbox, spent a stupid amount on getting it the way i wanted it, went through many phases, then got offered another car so stripped it back to near standard and was ready to sell it until the new car started messing up, so i sold that and bought a lot of parts back, put a different engine in, but it just wasn't the same as before so began hating it...

4. - 10/2011-01/2012 - Dragon Green Mk3 Golf Gti, 2.0 8v (1998) - Really liked this for the first couple of weeks, but then problems arose, intake broke, rear brake lines split and rear calipers seized on, few more things, so took the hit and gave up on it then brought the corsa back to life.

5. 08/2012-? - Capsicum Red Twingo RS FF, 1.6 16v (2010) - Love this car, still makes me smile every day! even though, tax, service and it needs new front tyres all in the next 2 months
