Some black mechanix gloves and a tread depth gauge.

Need a new basic toolbox and tools so I might buy the cheap 175 piece set from halfords for £50 unless someone knows of any better ones, using my dads tools ATM and there is no order and are about 20 years old and taken from the army all that time ago

There the best boxes ;) nah in honesty bud buy a decent 3/8 and 1/4 socket set for now and build from there

To be honest the halford boxes are pretty decent your other options are Sealey or Teng Tools neither are mega bucks I don't think and are of pretty high quality.

I don't really do anything major and thought the halfords box would be good enough after adding some swan necked spanners

The hardest thing I have changed is fitting a toda exhaust to my bro in laws EP3.

It's more so to have tools when I want to do stuff myself like if i eventually get coilovers or when i get a full exhaust system or to help my friend with his ever changing ****** ford.

Plus the mechanix gloves are ideal for paintballing/airsoft seeing as a few mates of mine have all black versions for when they go on exercise or are on the ranges aswell as mechanic sort stuff ;)

Problem with many of the larger kits is your paying for stuff you won't use. Or, they are padded out with crappy tools which won't last too long. 150piece socket sets with half of the sockets being A/F which is fine if you have a car from the 1980's or an american muscle car.

The Halfords profesional sockets and spanners etc are rather good and obviously easily avaliable. Keep an eye out for sale times as there can be some good bargains

+1 on Halfords professional range. Great quality and very well priced in a sale. I've got a decent socket set that does anything I need that cost a lot less than I had actually planned to spend and I've had it years

A set of proper Renault showroom plates, all the way from France! The chap at my local Renault dealer that I ordered them from said that it's the first time in the 21 years he's worked there that someone's wanted them lol...

I'm pretty sure I got told the the halfords pro stuff (hand tools) carry a lifetime guarantee too.

I'm afraid I'm not going to be at FCS! Plus I need 'em much sooner!

I've been looking at those this week, its between them and bimarco futura.

Nothing much for the car other than detailing bits, which have now arrived.

Chemical guys fine clay mitt
Zymol glasur, HD cleanse, vinyl conditioner and their shampoo
Planet polish wheel seal and shine

Other than the mitt, there's nothing I've not owned before

All organised

The collection is far smaller than it has been. But I keep a lot of chemical guys stuff at carries for her to use, so guess its probably much bigger than this.
