about 800's worth of snap on tools :( even with a 60% discount it still hurts!
I'd love a 60% discount with my snap on dealer lol. According to the to books I have spent aprox £4000 in the last 5 years with snap on alone! I nearly cried when he told me lol.
As for what I've ordered....the forum stickers ;-) (rebel lol)

don't you get a 60% trade discount mate? i get that from my local snap on van. 4k ??? and i bet you have a set of spanners and two screwdrivers to show for that lol, snap on aint cheap even with discounts
Dno maybe it's already discounted then...he comes round to our garage every Wednesday. Yer just a few lol keep having to shell out for sockets that mysteriously disappear never to be found again! Still haven't got everything I'd like though :-( but its all money and I haven't got any lmao

Do yourselve a favour, and buy an electric engraver. More chance of finding your sockets in your mates toolboxes, or the light-fingered colleagues moving on to unmarked tools from other peoples boxes.

As for buying, yesterday I booked and paid for two days at Spa (next March) and I picked up a Christmas present for Mrs Araf today.

It's not really that I mean if anyone has anything of any one else's at work it always gets returned its quite a friendly and trusting place to wok, it's just somehow I'll put all my stuff in a pile then pick them all up and random stuff will vanish! I have been missing a screwdriver of which is an orange handled snap on one and I am the only one in the place with the orange set and two years later its never been seen again! (Obviously it has been replaced now) I swear we have a tool pinching ghost lmao

overpriced rubbish, playing on a heritage from when they were overpriced but actualy good. Although theres the benefit of the snap on rep making it easy to part you from your cash

They're not good anymore? They are well out of my price range for tools but I would love a set. I usually buy halfords professional stuff as its good value and quality + lifetime warranty :)

And halfords are usualy open 7 days a week and occasionaly have a 40% reduction on tools.

Their 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" socket sets and combination ratchet spanners served me well for a year in a HGV garage without needing the waranty. However, i have previously split a socket when swinging on a 4ft breaker bar... It was exchanged, and, that was on a weekend. If you don't loose, abuse or neglect them, they are very good tools for the price

just ordered a k-tec exhaust with the twin tip and a sticker bomb sheet to cover up the marks where i hit a tree

Well half way through today my brand new tyre went pop as some ******** pulled out on me I swerved, hit curb nd pop... Tyre being two days old and unrepairable I had to fork out for a new one!
