I suppose the rest could be uprated later on after putting a charger on it there's no kits specified for Twingos though so I guess it'd have to be a custom jobby? and I wouldn't be able to do that without seeking help haha
but I'd seriously consider it once I have the cash

Unfortunately having the cash isn't enough I need to have the years under my belt :/
I rang up adrian flux for a quote (I'm with admiral) and they said no one wants me  I'll try again in a couple of months when I hit 21
but i rang up admiral and a cheerful welsh fellow told me it would only be an £30 more for the zaust and an induction kit which is alright tbh
any idea how much colilies add on to an insurance quote? forgot to ask doh

With Admiral they don't like suspension changes with my past experience, think it added £180 onto my old Corsa

oof! that's a fair chunk might ring for a quote later then see if they're worth keeping in mind or forgetting about for the time being haha

They told me that it would void my insurance at first... Came to an agreement in the end

Sell it and buy an S2K!!!

If that's not an option ;)

Think someone's already said it:
Suspension
Brakes

(My suggestion)
and then driving lessons

Use the rest on fuel enjoying your car and your new skills.

Why brakes there just as good if not better than standard 172/182 brakes make sure you have good tyres over brakes and yea some good coilies cost a few bob but Definatly worth it ! Then ktec exhaust?

Pads, not calipers (and anyone that suggests EBC greenstuffs should be banned  ), Never said the calipers weren't up to the job.

That could be arranged :D

Ah right cool well i went to the pub instead of ringing them but there's no rush I'll look into it later on
Driving lessons sounds like a good idea do you mean like IAM lessons?
anyone that suggests EBC greenstuffs should be banned
take it they're pretty dire then?

From personal track experience yes, there are A LOT better for not that much more. Even for fast road use they're useless

IAM (or RoSPA) or if you want to know how to handle your car at speed I mean trackday tuition. I've done both and it's the best money I've ever spent.

What would you do?
Let someone else try it first, then follow suit if it works ;)

IAM test won't teach you to drive quick... It will teach you to be a LOT more observant and expecting of the road conditions... it may actualy make you slower! which isn't always a bad thing. My test was one and a half hours with a police driving examiner

haha that's a good answer but it is sometimes good to be the first one to do something providing it doesn't blow up in your face :? I've found a course by a company called drivetrain heard of this before? or do you know of any others worth recommending?

Personally if I was given £3k I'd keep hold of it and stick it in my savings. I'm 30 and old and sensible now! haha

But if someone said you have to spend £3k on your car or I'll rape you, I'd have throttle bodies fitted on the 172!!

Haha yeah I'm still young and foolish I guess but I'll spend at least half of it on the car :) besides the rest of my money pay is already donated to the beer and hookers charity!
