So im on the right hand lane approaching a roundabout and theres a nissan micra in thr left lane. As i go round on the inside said micra decides to cut in front of me causing me to lockup the brakes and hit the inside of the roundabout kerb with a big bang with the front wheel. Took a chunk of the lip of the tyre out and big scuff on the wheel.

Looks like cosmetic damage say from kerbing but is there anything i should get checked to make sure? It felt like quite a big bang but im hoping the tyre took the main impact and not any suspension it feels normal and no vibration or shaking

EXACT same thing happend to me, only owned the car from new for a few days. Black astra forced me into the kerb though. I haven't got round to sorting mine yet. Unfortunatley for me, i kept rolling and it's done a full 360 on both passenger side wheels, big silver ring on jet black alloys, not pretty.

Its so annoying when youve worked so hard and someone does that to you aint it!

Even on a spirited drive ive never nearly caused someone to crash ever

i was lucky when it happened to me there wasnt a kerb just a big grasy bank, so no kerbed wheels but found out the twingo can go offroad quite well.

u can be te safest driver in teh world, but there are always gona be idiots out there in other cars

not the exact one ( which im sure is a far superior product), had a cheap one off ebay on the clio in the third picture (with the 172 wheels) and it flew off on the motorway, taking the wingmirror glass with it.

as a product, i reckon they are very useful!
