Hi,

New to the forum but I'm running Toyo T1R's on standard 17" cup wheels size 215/40/r17's.

No problems at all.....

Cheers,

G.

Are you sure with the size? I wonder as it´s 15mm bigger in dia and 20mm in width than the standard cup rubbers...

And a larger diameter still over the non cup standard tyres.

8mm raise in ride height (cup) and also an increase in the overall gearing :?

After some ******* nicked my standard 16" RS alloys i found some cheap used MAK MXR 16J7 rims. ET 35, so +20mm per side. Running sport chassis (non cup) and vredestein sportac 3 195/45/16. no rubbing at all.

17x8 could be do-able. Maybe with some rubbing on full lock but the ET30 is too low I think.

What you can do is grind out the center piece on the inside and making the ET higher again.

Unless you have the tools do this you'll need to do this in a car bodyshop.

Only if its got a very thick center boss and uses long bolts. Otherwise you would only have a thin section left for the bolts to pull against... A specialised task needing a large milling machine/lathe

Ofcourse, as Neil says, depending how thick the center boss is that you can pull this off.

Hmm I wanted to get some fifteen52 Tarmac wheels, the ones ken block had on his gymkhana fiesta but in white.

If what Neil said doesn't work I'd be out of pocket alot of money

They kinda look like the Rota Slipstream and they come in sizes that fit the Twingo RS.

The rota slipstream spikes are very slim, I liked the fifteen52s because they have much wider spokes and are completely flat.

They say they can do custom PCDs so I might just fire an email off asking if they do custom offsets.
