Trying to find the cheapest supplier of spark plugs for my 1.2GT

after a search I believe they need the NGK 7A7 plugs

GSF do them at £55
GT do them at £80
ECP do them at £65

Renault parts direct do them at £30 + maybe some postage

Cheapest on ebay are £37

Are the ones from renault parts NGK's? because it doesnt say.

And what performance air filter is the best for the twingo GT??

https://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/renault/renault-twingo/engine/filter-elements-oe-airbox.html

these do a BMC one for £50, and piper cross for £30

And Ktec do one which is £35

oh yeah and does anyone know if you an get ferodo ds2500 pads for the 1.2 gt ?

The only uprated pads I could find where ebc yellows at £50, or carbon lorraine rc-5's @ £150

And if brembo do high carbon discs for the twingo gt 1.2gt

Sorry can't help you with stuff I don't know the answers to.

1.2 MK2 pads will fit, Williams 1.8 pads and disks will fit the GT , 5GTT pads will fit but the disks are different

So yes you can get ferodo pads that will fit

For the spark plug. Have you tried emailing or calling them to see if it is the same?

The air filters, it depends on the brand you prefer tbh. They're basically all the same. K-tec used to have an issue with the rubber seals but that's now fixed. I believe most people go for the BMC one.

What about going with an induction kit?

I wasn't sure either on the spark plugs.
Make very sure you take the right ones (if not sure, just go to Renault to get them) because the GT is very sensitive on the spark plugs.

Some people tried others one in the past and the engine was running very rough.

Cheers for replies guys, I will try and find a supplier for the pads I need then ,

also guys I just rang up renault parts direct and they told me that the spark plugs they do for
the Twingo 1.2GT are the NGK 7A7 ones. Even better, when I was on the phone to him he told me
they updated the price and its now cheaper at £28.61, How good is that.

So im gonna get all my service bits from renault parts, and a pipercross air filter and then find me some brake pads.

We mostly sell the BMC air filters for the Twingo. Not the cheapest but absolutely spot on fitment wise, and never had a quality issue ever. We are pushing into selling the cheaper Pipercross range though now so we can offer a foam filter range.

HC discs are not as amazing as people think. The HC content basically makes the discs less prone to squeal. As far as I am aware there are no performance benefits. We sell the Brembo Brake Disc range and they only make HC discs if the original parts were HC. If you want a price for your car give me a call.

got EBC Yellow on my gt - brill stopping power, make your own induction kit, lots of people on here have, me included, choose your own filter cone or mushroom and some silicone hose's etc, lot cheaper than buying a typhoon or somat similar. got some pics of mine on here somwhere.
