hi all
just wondered if anybody has or knows anybody that has fitted a sub in a Twingo, if its possible (Halfords told me they couldn't do it), also how hard can it be? any advice will be appreciated.
please be nice! :)
thanks.

Hi,
regarding ICE in your car, anything is possible. Even I installed a compo set, amplifier and subwoofer in my Wind. ( wasn't easy though)

Yes. It is possible. Depending on whether you want to change the head unit in your car will either make the job easier or harder. If you change the head unit to an after market one which has pre outs then the job is relatively easy. If you want to keep the standard head unit the job gets a lot lot more challenging.

True ^
I kept my standard head unit.

Hardest part about fitting a sub in a twingo is surrendering boot space. It certainly is a lot easier to fit a sub with an aftermarket head unit that has built in pre outs like Roberts has mentioned

I wanted the interior with the standard radio and have a little bit of stealth with the ICE. I don't like the flashy looking aftermarket head units. But yea, it took me alot of fiddling with the amplifier to get right sound out of it.

Thank-you all for the help :)
I would like to keep the head unit the same, yes.
Would it be easier to just get some new door speakers for better quality sound?

He hasn't really. It's spent more time in the garage than it has on his drive...

I meant watch out, don't hit me ;). Melton Mowbray. So East Leicestershire.
