We've got an occupation thread going, what about stupid hours people work?
I'm on double days at the min, 6am till 2pm one week, 2-10pm the week after. It's a killer in this weather getting up at 4.50am

I do 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday then 8am - 4pm alternating Saturdays not horrendous though I don't think.

I do 10am to around 12 midnight and I do that 6 days a week maybe 7 if I'm really lucky

Monday to Friday
9-5

Except I'm always in far earlier and finishing far later but that's because audit is time consuming and hassle

8am-10pm some days but most days 10am-10pm and if there's a detailing job
Il detail through the night

I do all kinds of shifts from starting at 3,30am then finishing at 9am to doin lates and finishing at 2am. Today I started at 5,30am and finish at 3,30pm then my 15 day holiday start :)

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, however im always early and stay untill silly late if a contract is due... oh the joys

I come at either 8 8:30 or 9am, depending what jobsare on the day.. Finish at 6pm, but if a job aint finished its until its done!

9-5 Mon-Fri get here normally half 8 leave normally around half 5, don't leave too late as i either have an hours journey to Blackpool or an hour and a half to North Wales :L

I do 35 hours a week, usually 8am to 4pm but latest I go in is 10am to 6pm.

Previous job was the same number of hours but shifts covering 24 hours Monday to Friday, so could be 7am to 3pm as the earliest. Latest could be 3pm to 11pm or 11pm through until 7am.

12 hour shifts
stupid times
7.30 start
10.00 start
11.30 start
19.30 start and
21.00 start

finish officially 12 hours later but if jobs not finished (as someone else said) then its paid over time!

Longest shift I have done so far is 19.30 start 11.45am finish! ( ooh and I forgot a 30 and a 15 mins break!)

Official hours are 8-5 mon-fri.

What I actually do is more like 8-6 on a good day but usually 8-7, with a working lunch break (sarnie at desk). With some extra work done at home each night and over the weekend thrown in for good measure.

12 Hour shifts sound like hell! Couldn't do it!

Me:
08:45-18:00
Monday to Saturday
Too much routine, but Iv'e got an extra days work now, which is good!

12 hour shifts were great. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. Loads of time to be with the family.

Last year it was 7 days a week, but it's currently a leisurely 9-5.30 Mon/Fri.

Yep do get time off with 12 hr shifts! Gotta be some perks, deffo earn them on those shifts!

I work a 5 week pattern consists of days in 3s and 4s 0700-1700, lates in 3s and 4s 1400-0000 and nights in 3s and 4s 2200-0700 and my hours get altered occasionally at short notice, I also get days off cancelled with a few weeks notice too! Ah, the joys!
