Exactly.

Ok, for my RS, i was at the workshop this morning. My tires are completely worn out, all the way to the cables, which is why they became completely unbalanced. Also the OZ have a bit of a bump. So there goes 4 new Bridgestone RE050A.

On the bad news side, my front coilovers are pissing fluid, again. AST = super sh*t!!!

Good choice, I just fitted Evo Corse wheels + Bridgestone RE050A and I have to say they have completely transformed the car! Would recommend them to everyone here. Especially when you have 16" on, they cost around 90€ each. Sorry for the offtopic though.

No off topic, no worries.

I'll have to lower the car again though for the new wheels.

The car is now clean, on temporary grey OZ ULG on Hankook Ventus S1 tires whiles i get my black ULG fitted with the Bridge tires.

No, but the semi slicks were a bit bigger, hence the smaller gap before between wheel and wheelarch. But don't worry, lowering is on the list of To-Do things.

It's tough when it comes to coilovers for Twingo RS :(

KW don't make them no more, Bilstein never did, Nitron won't be out for at least a year and you are left with the BC coilovers which must be good, but personally I don't have the time and knowledge to set everything up, so KW's or Bilstein should do the trick, but as said before, they are unavailable.

How are the ASTs, still pissing fluid? :(

I'm probably gonna get ap myself but they're meant to be quite soft for track work so no use to Yotah.

It's hard for a manufacturer to commit as there's not really very many 133s worldwide.

Besides, other than being a little high, the oem suspension isn't exactly rubbish

You're right it isn't rubbish for 99% of buyers, even for the ones that do use theirs regularly on track. The 'ring is notorious for being very hard on components, and it's that percentage that NEED uprated suspension.

If you include the comment above, ie keeping my post within the context it was posted, you'll note the comment about even ap not being stiff enough for track use/yotahs intention.

The 133 is a road car. Not a race car. So it needs road car suspension. Not race car suspension. I'd rather go with cup suspension than race, even to the ring, as long as less than 50% of my driving was on the 'ring.

Renault sell upgraded suspension

but not so easy to fit actually

I will work on soon

mazmaz are you planning to work on everything on your car? Everything anyone does , you mostly respond 'i will work on soon'.

Off topic i know...

Jeez and if you read I'm agreeing with you only 1% will NEED uprated stuff...

I hope the photos are not too big for the forum, i copied them directly from my FB page...
So hard to look at the front of the car now, through the winter with all the salt on the german roads, it got very bad in term of paint condition. It is full of white spots that just don't come off :(

Call them 'battlescars' from the ring.

I'm amazed your car doesn't have more chipstone damage from ripping through the Ring that much.

It still looks very good for being abused so much.. because racecar!

And I love the zip ties on the front nose, makes it look so raw
