    Cambelt change

I wouldn't do it myself, not much room and you need a kit or similar. Just marking the pulleys isn't going to be precise in my opinion...

    Cambelt change

Mine was replaced last year at 90.594 kilometers and is of 04/2009... So 2,5 years! Why? There was a noise coming from the accessories belt tensioner. Normally this is due for 120.000 kilometers or 6 year. But hey is this can break, so can the timing belt and since the engine had to come out...

205/50 like my Skoda Octavia RS did is also rare and more expensive! Price wise 205/40 is the best choice!

I was very happy with my conversion to the cup spoiler! So much better in balance...

I thought so too, but I would go with 205/45 then! It is still low profile enough and maybe better? Let's not forget most Tarmac racers don't have ultra low profile tires, although not to be compared to road tires...

    Test drive the Clio 197

It is too bad I didn't let the Renault salesman race me, so I could see the difference more clearly... Also a shame he wanted to sit in the passenger seat with the test drive, because of the very high speed potential (WTF)! So I could only start from 3000 rpm in 2nd gear.

    Test drive the Clio 197

Yep that's what I noticed yesterday on the way home. Kind of funny when journalists say the Clio is not suited for long holiday trips because of the short gear ratios and exhaust note, but the lack of other noises and cruise control makes it a lot better that the Twingo

I doubt they do, but if you have them you could try... Maybe with a bit of work. But it will also make your gearing a bit taller. I think 205/40 would be bang on and also makes the speedo reading bang on (100 is now 102/103). But 215/40 or 205/45 could maybe fit or made fit. The R2 has 205/50...

    Test drive the Clio 197

Yesterday I had a test drive in a Clio RS 197... Impressions: Good grip (as expected) Didn't feel that fast Not so much noise from tyres and wind, only a bit exhaust noise Engine sounds better, less stressed 6th gear about same as our 5th gear Much more comfortable Would I buy it? Hmm, I do...

Had these on my Skoda, not too bad, but on a moist surface it would under steer very soon.

    Tyre review thread

I consider my Continental's the best tyre I have had so far, no matter the price I will replace them by the same, but probably a 205/40 which fits 7J wheels better and fill the arches a bit better. And cheaper as well...

    Rolling road test

Nope it doesn't... Henk from Fastchip said: "I am afraid that's the best I can do", we can look at this in 2 ways: 1 The ECU is well mapped from factory 2 The hardware is the limiting factor For me it was all to see if the car had all of his horses after almost 90.000 km's and mapping was a...

    Inoxline Performance manifold & exhaust

Ok but almost all big manufactures use tuners for their Motorsport programs like Sodemo, Pipo, Oreca, M-Sport, Mountune, Prodrive, etc, etc. but of course they still have more to test than we could ever do... Or in Rallycross we see a lot of Trollspeed, Godfrey, Gallaghan, etc. Or you could use...

    Rolling road test

I really think that is low and I really doubt this lead to an estimate 133 on the fly, I think this would mean 120-125 at the fly... Mine had 115 about the 133 at the fly before mapping and only 117 after mapping leading to about 136...
