The remap is done on a dyno, before te remap, only with the k&n filter it has 137bhp with 149 nm torgue. With the original filter is no data from a dyno test.
it's strange you have so much bhp.... usually Twingos haven't more than 125bhp, are you sure that the dyno is correct??

Yes i'm shore off that ;) The owner of the dyno told me his dyno was just be recalibrated. Have seen the report. :D

+1
thats some air filter

Well you believe it or don't. What also is, every engine is different. Some have less then the 133bhp, some have more. So it's possible the mine has standard 133/134 bhp. Maybe in the futere the exhaust wil be modified also, off course will er take an dyno run after. ;)

Renault have never claimed that 133's came with 133bhp, only ever 131bhp ;)

and to be fair im not sure that the 131bhp they came with was actually all there as i think this was measured in diff units because of where it was built and also at the flywheel rather than the wheels?

the goal to hit 150 was leading me to a path of self destruction lol.

easy way to get 150 would be weight saving, lots of hacking and slim fast and bang, the car will hit 150bhp :D

weight saving wont help bhp :D but it will make it go faster

Yeah something like that, was worked out in PS or some random lettering as dictated by the EU.

I think you mean 150 per tonne, yes?

I'm at 137 I think.

yea think most ended up with around 124bhp (at the flywheel)

Something like that although from what I've read Ktec claim most 133's have left the factory with like 2bhp and their remap gives it over 120 more.

It's why I have spent time on bhp/tonne than chasing figures. Bhp increases on n/a engines are expensive and mostly not great.

k-tec secretly designed the whole car and then let renault have it

u are much better just reducing as much weight as poss -which is normally free
then sorting out the handling and if there are any pennies left u can start "chasing the power"

i would deff say the stand alone ecu is worth it, after may may may hours or remapping i still have spikes and low points. splashed quite a bit on handling so hopefully see how that does on the track and like you said weight saving is free...or is it, i smell carbon in the air lol

My 3 step program to going quicker on track:

1) Remove weight
2) Fit semi-slick tyres
3) Be me and become a talented track driver

lol

u want full slicks
u should do some track/race licences if u havnt- great way of finding speed

I don't think the standard car could cope with full slicks - something would break around the suspension department.

Licenses are on my long list of things to do :)

????

*ah i see now. thats quite i high rev limit there. be sure to watch your water and oil temps! my second remap lowered mine from 7500 to 7200. rather use aftermarket cams then try to force it out of stock
