Whats been done to that?

Please tell me that's not nearly close to the standard performance of the 133? Otherwise I need to upgrade from the GT alot sooner than I thought.

Sorry if this has already been answered... I havent the middle few pages

My 3 step program to going quicker on track:

1) Remove weight
2) Fit semi-slick tyres
3) Be me and become a talented track driver

lol

u want full slicks
u should do some track/race licences if u havnt- great way of finding speed

I don't think the standard car could cope with full slicks - something would break around the suspension department.

Licenses are on my long list of things to do :)

Most (if not all) trackdays don't allow slicks on cars unless they have adequate rollover protection.

I've deffo taken lessons and it's improved my driving, I certainly tell people that's the best thing to do rather than spaff money on mods.

Agrars i believe has milled out his throttle body and replaced butter fly with a slightly larger one, on tinwgo2.it

going for a private lesson, 300 quid, 6 hours, use my own car for fwd and their other 2 for rwd and 4wd. might get race lie after that.

still waiting on catcams to get back to me. zzzz

i have driven agrars's twingo four ours ago!! wonderful.... but.... orbital, in your opinion, could be dangerous his high rev limt???

Hi everybody, have you think about the fact that the 133hp are give for certification and every engine are different? adjustement, ... ? 5% for 133hp give between 126 and 139 hp ... no ( sorry for my english)

as i noticed on the video agrars has put his rev limit around 7500 wich can pull longer = so more power but can kill your engine in a long run pulling that revs constantly , i also put my rev limit around 7200 it is nice if you can pull a bit longer but i do not always do it :)

I tried my old bored out 64mm tb I used to have on my 197 (standard on Clio and twingo are both 60mm) I found it better higher ranger but boggier on lower revs on the twingo I would say 62mm would suit twingo a lot better for now I've gone back to standard :)

Not when Peugeot announce a specific output of 160 horses per litre in the rcz

Isn't that for the upcoming RCZ R? Looks like that might be fairly decent.

The 133 is highly tuned as it is....

I wouldn't call 83bhp/litre highly tuned. :?
I mean as far as standard engine goes you can't tune (read: remap) to gain much.

The low hp output isn't ideal but there's not a lot that we can do about that without changing components.

Yep definitely not highly tuned and more highly reliable and efficient.

To think back in the late 90's that the original EK9 Civic Type R had well over 180bhp from it's little 1.6. Now for a road car that's highly tuned :)

Theire was no pollution limitation

now type R are no more cell in europe (france at least) cause they don't manage to fit the pollution limitation

1.6 from Renault can reach 240 phb without turbo

Yeah, Honda are supposedly going back to a 1.6 for the next Type-R - but a blown one this time!

A BTCC engine is significantly better maintained than oil once every 12000 miles though.

Well from what I read, which of course came from rumor turned into a story by some journalist, was that the engine was being used as development, and in an exteme state of tune. Not sure it would be beyond honda to put something like that into production though. In a slightly lesser state of tune or however it will be done
