Btw Rob, iirc swifts have a relatively short service schedule, so if you're doing lots of miles in one you might find yourself at a dealer quite often.

All you need mate is a cheap 1.2 then you dont need power and you dont need handling mght aswell find a small engine car cheap tax, Insurance and running costs

wrong!!!
a 1.2 will drive you mad if u are motorwaying!!

are you wanting a petrol or diesel or u not bothered??

I want to trade my RS in next year some time for a MK2 Focus RS, I think...
It all depends on the finances  .
I would loooove a BMW 1 Series ///M Coupe :D :D to expensive though

not fussed re petrol/diesel as long as i get goodish/better mpg

Yea true maybe you can get a second hand one for a good price?

maybe...

although...

What about finance? ive never had a car on finance before always bought them outright...

In my head finance is a bad idea..but i might be very wrong.

Do what I'd do!!

Keep the 133 for fun on weekends and get a second hand diesel.

The astra diesel we use within the police works well and gets abused most days with few problems. So as a pure motorway car ideal in my opinion. But any other small'ish diesel would be good!

Looks good but i bet insurance would hurt me!

Im looking on audis website at the A1 1.6 TDI.... finance would make the car very affordable...

Finance can be good. Got my Clio before on 0% from Renault. In that case it saved me some money, but it does tie you into the car for longer (unless you're willing to pay the penalty for paying it off)

Ive got my RS on finance,Ive always bought my cars on finance.
I dont know hey its your choice but i dont see anything wrong with finance,The only thing is that you obviously pay interest, but not much, but if you dont have the cash and want a nice car and can afford the monthly repayments then why not..

i just find all vw's abit "dead" when you drive them if u understand that :?

Mazda 6 2.2 diesel!! Trust me.

We got one as a pool car and it's awesome. 45mpg, nice and big so comfortable for long journeys and they are loaded with everything. Nice and cheap too coz no one wants em!

They can get a squirt on when they need too as well, I think it would keep up with the Twingo until you show it corners.
