coolant changed
brake fluid changed
gearbox oil changed
engine oil changed
freed off the rear brakes
removed all the seats, carpet, boot and shampoo'd
sorted most of the rattles (i hope)
got to the bottom of the gearbox problems - bits ordered
got to the bottom of the PAS problem - bits ordered
got to the bottom of the ABS problem - bits ordered
bonnet is all sorted

so got to re-fit all of the interior 2moz then prob pull the engine out over the weekend and do the belt, clutch etc

god , you dont bugger about do you.

taking plenty of pics for the rebuild?
 
no pics yet coz its all pretty boring stuff but once i get the lump out i might treat u horrible lot to some pics :mrgreen:
 
where the refil for the gearbox oil? not sure where it is on the 133 but hoping it would be in roughly the same place as the clio's. running high spec oil for the rest of the parts and not liking the fact the gearbox is on plain jane stuff- sorry for jack of thread
 
depends what gearbox are you running??

it i remeber its a j series box so its fill by overflow.

if it is there should b a rubber bung on the front of the box, take that out and fill with 75w80 until it trickles out of the hole.

i would personally recommend 75w90 tho. miles better
 
iv just realised the most worrying thing about owning this is that at some point i may have to give k-tec some money :?

there must b a better way .......

cheers for that. RS tuning know their way around a clio but not sure if they have the work space. also garage near me that ran clio's in the cup series and forumla renault but their place is located by llandow circuit which i can tell you is a 3 hour trip from Santa Pod :(

shampoo'd all the interior again today, removed all the sound deadening, washed the inside of the body
then borrowed a snazy little tool from the valeting bay and "tornado'd" all of the inside of the car; seats carpet etc.

its basically an airline blower with some cleanning fluid in it, does the job!

then put all the stuff back in :cry:
(not sure how long its gona b in there tho) ;)

prob gona get the lump out 2moz after the f1 and some hours at work

u can open it, it twists.
there are three plastic tags that u need to b careful with as they snap easy ;)
but it is just a connector and two fuel pipes under there!no rainbow and hidden gold just go go juice :lol:

i know!!we were all thinking that at work sat!and iv got a seat and harnesses!but iv got to sell some other cars before i even think about it or my gf will rip my balls off!!

iv got a mega sexy set of alloys,exhaust and a set of coilovers on order so should b here at some point this week :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

ok people im in need of some help....
my exhaust turned up today and is rubbish :( so iv sent it back :evil: which basically means iv got to go to k-tec :?

iv decided on the mk2 stealth full system but i cant decide on the stealth version or the supersports version????
have any of u guys heard either, would the supersport b abit to loud and chav-ish??!!
dont want a wet fart or a monster boom.
im going to b running a custom mani and decat pipe so any thoughts............
