yea but i caught it on a speed bump on the way to do the film and so it was hanging down :cry: all sorted now tho :mrgreen:
 
grrr k-tec exhaust mounts are utter poo!!!!
everytime i hit the smallest bump in the world the exhaust drops and knocks :evil:

nothing i do is making any diff so iv gota try and make something better :roll:

(or pull my finger out and sort the scoob and sell the clio) :eek:

no its not the rubber mounting iv already done them.
the centre pipe has a holding clamp that is w**k and just twists :evil:

gona try and sort something better but dont wana damage/modify the exhaust too much in case i wana sell it :? otherwise i would have just welded the thing on there :twisted:
 
the poor clio is being neglected :cry:
might b popping up in the for sale section soon ..........
 
i was feeling sorry for the clio so iv ordered a front bumper,front grill and new n/s/f wing to sort the damage out.
took it out for a blast today and the injection light came on and i misfired all the way home :cry: :cry: :evil:

That sucks man :(

My dad's 172 Cup got a misfire lastweek.
Turned out, the gasket for the breather on top of the Cam cover was leaking and pissing oil down into the recess for Plug 4.
Changed the plugs yesterday to find a socket's depth of oil down there :(

Might be worth checking....also, the bolts for said breather assembly...Shear, bloody easily :roll:

think its the dephaser :evil: but havnt looked at it yet just dumped it on the drive!!

i had a big box of bits turn up today from a man at renault so i know what im gona be doing over the bank hols :evil:

thinking of sticking the poor clio on ebay soon so decided i had to fix the pulley first :roll:

cheers mate but its really not that intresting! :(
just belts pulleys etc to fix the damm dephaser noise :evil:

then i might be putting it back to standard and sticking it up for sale as iv just taken a job that means im gona be doing a fair bit of driving :mrgreen:
 
the clio is all good again :mrgreen: (for now) :roll:

seeing as the weather was pretty poo yesterday i thought id do the pulley on the clio so wasted an hour and got it all done so no more rattle or injection light :mrgreen: :mrgreen:


also pretty happy with the camera on my phone!!! :cool:
 
been using the clio all week to get to my new job as its the most fuel efficient car i have :?
and i got my mpg upto 43mpg :shock: :shock:
but driving like a saint, watching the counter drives me mad so been driving normal(ish :twisted: ) and im still getting 40mpg :mrgreen: :mrgreen: so might be staying around for a bit longer :mrgreen:
