Day Time Running Lights

All new cars from 2011 have to be made with DRL, I'm looking at creating an aftermarket part that will fit low on the front end, it's a design in progress at the minute.

Just looking too see who would be interested? I'm designing and getting the mouldings done so maybe on show by FCS.

Well the parts will get machined especially for the car, not some stick on product!

I'll get some done for show and see what interest I can drum up, of course pics will be plentiful!

Just be aware that so far the moulding that I have planned is for a RS133, but don't see why I can't adapt to other versions of the Twingo if interest builds

One of the many things i'm interested in adding on! My cousin has just put DRL onto his Astra, looks class.. Not running a RS133, but a Dymanique.. Interested to the max!

Well, looks like there is a demand as from the posts on here and on the other forum people are interested. It might seem pointless too you, but each to there own, I just see a market place.

Still working on locations and positioning but as soon as I have a 3D image I shall post it up on here!

Yeah well, i'll give it a go, as I think they will look good, and if people like them and want some I can do the same!

An yeah i have looked at that place, but i'm trying to make it easy as an add on, and dont really want people cutting into the grill too much

I was top there is a Gordini around here that has day time running lights on it and the are in the gap above the number plate.

Not a good place as thats where the air intake is.

Cheers mate, this weekend its time to take some points for the 3D model, to get exact curvature, that also means I can get a prototype mocked up, as I said earlier i'm hoping to have a set mocked up by FCS

Karl, my friend had the same idea of placing, until I gave them the dirtiest look, with a disapproving shake of the head, plus from what i've read they are too high for where aftermarket ones can be placed
