For me personally, I think that link shows a more "stuck on" set. I'd prefer and I imagine when Renault releases the Twingo III that they'll be part of the main headlamp cluster (ie: like Audi) or more design-flowing like the current ones on the 250.

Ok, i've not had time to do any photoshops recently, but I now have two products to try, and play with, for these pics i've just used yellow paper to show the 3 locations choices and size difference between the two. Feedback welcome as some of you will obviously want to purchase!

Fig 1: Base of the mesh grill, like the one in the above link, on the left is the 4 LED version and the right the slimmer 8 LED version. My opinion, these will just look like a stick on and not look manufacturer fit, not what i'm looking for but I thought i'd throw it out there!

Fig 2: 4 LED version, the fog light surround will be replaced, and re-designed to house the LED and foglight together, the ridges will also be re-worked to flow with the new LED, I like this but I think it will look cluttered in such a tight space

Fig 3: 8 LED version, ok so this is my favourite idea out of the 3, and possibly the one I will have machined. There is one downside to this, but in all fairness I think its worth it. the 8 LED version, fills the whole foglight surround, the foglight therefore is removed. I know this wont be everyones cup of tea, but think about it, how many times do you use foglight's in adverse weather conditions, and not just flick them on at your local car meet.

Both Fig 2 and 3 together. Let me know your preferences, or if I've missed something out,

what about just under the fog light, just above the white surround if you know what i mean

Well I don't see why it can't be done, there is only one thing troubling me about it, so i'm gonna need you guys advice, your foglight surrounds, whats behind them as the appear to me to be in line with your bumper? because the depth of the LED will housed in the flares of the RS foglight surround, but I can't see how deep the non RS model is therefore you may need to cut a hole to put it in, might be wrong, but haven't even looked!

On the RS, I'd be inclined to go with them being fitted within the fog light surrounds as that appears to be the most OEM location.

Personally though I'm not a fan of daytime running lights. Even standard ones like on the RS250 look a bit odd and unecessary.

Alex_225 even tho your not a fan thanks for your input, foglight housing seems to be the best place, i currently had a little 3d imagery being processed, hopefully shall get it online for tomorrow

This might be another option? Maybe not for the performance seekers, as it would get in the way of the radiator I think.
Also the OEM seekers, might not find this attrackting.
But I think this is a good option for the ones who would like to have DRL and foglights..

(hope my english is not to bad, as I'm from Holland)

Not to my personal taste, but I think that's a good job you've done there.

I'm a little inexperienced to the aftermarket wiring of DRLs but I presume they are wired to the secondary ignition loom?

I like them a lot. Not particularly keen on the idea of putting them through the fog lights I don't see how it could look any less oem with them there...!

it's not my ride, just some random pics I found on the internet. I liked the looks of it, but it's just not my cup of tea I think..

I see, not a problem.

Does anyone know how to wire up DRL properly then?

I've seen the above product and looked into it as an option, but too replace the fog lights.

Ok so after alot of cut fingers fiddling an mock ups I'm straying from the foglight area.
For a simple reason it's gotta be a simple after fit that doesn't look cheap, and something easy adapted to the other models of twingo on here.

So I've got a mock up on the car and pending how it holds up we should be good. It's currently under the car in a moulding that sits just infront of the black skirt beneath the foglights, you can see it on a pic. They aren't operational yet as waiting for the plastic mouldings to be created and the DRL to arrive.

As for wiring them up it's connected too the battery and the feed wire spliced too a sidelights bulb to determine if the car is on and if the lights are on too.
