I'd go for the coupe too, not a huge fan of the hatch!

As long as its not the new one, that looks bloody awful! As do all the new styple BMWs imo
Im with 100% on that one.
I think the hatch is horrible and the coupe is hot.
My opinion though ;)

After talking to dad he said there is no point getting it unless i get a coupe as the hatch is a girls car

( i have no idea how it came up with that but there ya go!) lol

Haha interesting opinion on it. I can't think the Twingo is much more 'manly' if you're of that thinking haha.

The Coupe is certainly better looking than the hatch though!

You are crazy getting a diesel 1 series so young. Spend the money on a really selfish purchase whilst you dont need 5 doors or space for a family and have some fun man.

Have you even considered a clio 200 or waiting to see what the prices are on 2nd hand 250's in a year? You'd be very surprised at just how 'refined' BMW's are these days in comparison to their non german counterparts! Shop around and get a better car for your money :D

clio 200?? are you serious? im after cheap insurance... better mpg, a clio is not what im after.
BMW 1 series coupe is 3 door not 5....
What can i say, i like the 1 series, everyone has their own tastes.

Even I got 40mpg out of my 200 on motorway journeys! The fuel isnt that much worse than the twingo in all honesty, just the insurance is a bit lower

My old e81 cost the same to insure as the twingo rs. Yet on a motorway run could achieve 60 mpg now if you doing 90 miles a day it makes sense to have a diesel.
I sold mine due to moving house and doing less miles no point in paying for a diesel when you don't do the miles.
And I'm sorry as much as I enjoy the twingo for fun, Renault build quality and the sales people are no match for BMW lol.

Correction, the Twingo build quality is no match for BMW. Clio's and meganes are in a different league!

Pritch, if you want economy get a remapped meg dci 175, 220HP and bundles or torquey goodness with renaultsport handling plus 45-60 MPG!

the bottom of the range bmw is still miles above ANY renault in terms of build and reliability.

I detail cars many of which have been BMW's and Audi's, the interior on the RS megane 250 is of far higher quality when you actually look at it and feel it (sounds wrong lol) i had a brand new 11 plate BMW 320 D and the side panel on the interior was falling off already and the quality of the plastics was shocking!

Rob we took in a silver 09plate 120d one series today that I can get a good deal on if u are intrested?

What spec + mileage? I was after maybe an 11 plate but im defo interested in considering it if you could get some details for me, much appreciated!!

hows the car hunting going???
have u had much joy on your 133??

the 1 series at work turned up today but its a hatchback so not sure if ur still intrested??
we got rid of our bmw last weekend  poss the shortest time iv ever owned a car!i just cant decide what i want now :?

The hunt has really slowed down due to working stupidly long hours now, i will have a look again on saturday and see what has come about.

No real joy with the 133, some odd interest but nothing serious. Its costing me £100 a week in fuel now!

got my insurance renewal through today for the 133 and it was alot cheaper than i expected (300£ cheaper!) which helps with the finances of the 1 series.

Cheers for the info mike but your right, im after a coupe not the hatchback im afraid!

Won't be part exchanging due to very low offers on it

Any ideas what you fancy next?

the misses sold the tt for the bmw but after having it for a while she has decided that she loves the tt more than ever so is getting another one.
and as much as people slagg them it is a million times better than bmw in in nearly everyway!

im currently going thro all my cars and car stuff and taking pics because im gona sell most of my stuff over the next month or so and buy something else

iv been looking for a while but i have no idea what i want really!i was suposed to be going to have another look at a cossie that i saw for sale at ford fair but the guy has let me down

my short list=

ecort cos

scoob sti - iv owned loads of scoobs,iv already got one, common,
evo 5,6 or 9 -eat fuel,mad insurance
skyline r32 -old,eat fuel,mad insurance,expensive parts
bmw m3 e46 - expensive to buy,expensive to tune,mad insurance,but alot newer
glanza turbo -no idea!!think i bumped my head!looks horrid, tiny, cheap, just want one with 400bhp

any thoughts or ideas??

i never thought id say this but looking for a car is starting to wear me down!!

some people think there cars are worth nearly double what they are actually worth :?
espec in the current market!
and iv realised that my version of "mint" is very diff to some peoples!!

went to look at a "mint" r32 this morning with a price to match!!and it was a shed

fancy something different but cant find anything i like :(

I looked at that Beemer before. Proper mint car but big cars always come with big bills. Ive had a starlet turbo glanza. They aren't all they are cracked up to be to be honest unless your willing to spend loads tuning it
