i was only going for the 550d !!! but been looking in2 it all for afew weeks and figured my cameras were well out of date and so have sold them and got a whole new set!!hopefully the last camera i ever buy!!!!!

i looked at the nikons but not as many toys and for some reason they had hardly any extras for them in stock!also i thought they were heavy!!(not that that should really matter)!

Fair plan depends where you got it mine was from jessops and they seem to have everythink for nikon

went in2 one shop and after about 5mins of a bloke tring to sell me a little compact as "they are much better"
when i finally got him to the slrs he tried wedging a pentax lense in2 a canon body so decided to leave!!!

Pmsl i worked out which cameras i wanted online went to comet pc world and currys to get a feel for the cameras then ordered the one i wanted online with jessops

I ordered a spare battery for my Nikon D3100 on the 5th of December. In no rush i wait for a month then think a email asking where it will be. I get a email back with a date so i rang them on that date and repayed for the item then told ill have the battery tomorrow. Guess what i ring them up 2 days later after not seeing the battery and am told that one hasnt been sent out and gone back order again ! So i very nicely told them to cancell my order. As you can guess i wont be using them for a while now.

Anyone know of anywhere else i can get a second battery?

lol In seriousness just Google it mate and make sure you stay away from fake batteries on eBay; it's swamped with them.

Have you looked for Nikons eBay store? I know Canon have one.

Also I use an eBay store called DigitalRev. They're very good too

You would be looking at a compact camera for that price. Unless you have any exchange camera places anywhere
