On another note...where the hell to buy all the pipe work for the fmic from?!!! can't seem to find much of a choice bar eBay! But did manage to find a fmic I really like for £100 https://www.mishimoto.co.uk/mishimoto-universal-intercooler-small-black.html
Also would 2.5" pipe work be ok for it or would it be too tight of a fit?

They look good.

I was going to get an FMIC but I also didn't want to cut pieces of my car or have it showing.

You'd be better with 2.25" pipework, get a ToyoSports universal one. Then buy some extra clamps and silicone reducers from ApMotorstore or AutoSiliconeHoses :)

Could I use the one I found (see link) and use a reducer to step down from 2.5" to 2.25"? On another note...is the one I found not very good then? I really like the design!

you could yes but ideally you dont want to be changing diameter sizes if you can avoid it. disrupts the air flow
Ok...does it make a difference worth worrying about? Cuz most universal fmic (except eBay) that I have found so far are 2.5" inlet/outlet. Plus also really like the black one i found so if I can make it work I'd much prefer that!

Get an unpainted one and give it a very light coat of black paint? Not too much as you'll ruin the cooling qualities though.

Hmm...never thought of that! Are the universal ones on eBay any good? Or should I avoid them? And particular ones to aim for?

The ones on ebay are Toyosports and I had a good look at mine and its pretty good quality for the money, can't complain. I quite liked the challenge/task of cutting and finding the route to make it fit to be honest

If you have deep pockets you can buy universal ones from Forge Motorsport but you're looking at £170-£200 for the intercooler + pipe work + silicone hoses & clamps so that will be over £350 in the end!
