Our mod has fallen ill :(

I texted him the yesterday and no reply intill today. He was rushed into hospiatal yesterday with kidney stones and in immense pain

GET WELL SOON ALEX !!!!!!!!!!

Ouch, very painful indeed!

Nothing fun about it but I hope you enjoyed it when they came out (if they're out?)!

Cheers guys, much appreciated.

The stone is an epic 5mm but apparently in 'stones terms that's huge. They've discharged me for now as there's nothing they can go until it passes.

Worst pain I've ever felt; wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Does that mean you'll have to pee out a 5mm stone? Don't envy you mate but hope you get better soon.

And drink more water young man haha

In essence yes, but it could break up or worst case scenario will need cutting out. I have a check up in two weeks to exam and if it's still not out, the knives will come out

I thought there was something they could give you which would help to break it up?

My bro had kidney stones a few months back... Woke up in the middle of the night and drove himself to A&E.. the next day they passed so hopefully it won't be too long for you mate!

Yeah I've got some tablets which widen the kidney tubes and passages up so it makes it easier. Fingers crossed they work.

This is the second time I've been rushed to hospital in the last 2 month and unlike last time I didn't leave it so late I had to get an ambulance; I recognised the symptoms and as soon as I started vomiting due to pain i knew A&E was the next step lol

Wow you poor soul :(

F my kidney. Someone get this thing out of me :(

Yep, Co-codamal. The pain is sometimes unbearable though, makes me feel sick and not want to eat and then because of that I feel sick due to not eating.

co-codamal is like kebabs for me, soooo good yet so bad. try and get off them as quick as you can, since being on them for 2 years plus they've lost their effect at working on me and like wise with lesser pain killers :(

Yes, i read that a while back. I think the box has "do not take for more than 2 weeks" on them. But right now, I'd rather the damn pain disappeared!
