such a drama queen ;)

Ha! I challenge anyone to swap!

I asked the doctor yesterday why I regularly throw up; his response was simple - it's because the pain is so bad. Think about that Manly Man Karl.

how did it go today?

In typical NHS fashion it has been postponed for a week. If I am in agony again (I'm on different tablets) then I have to go to AE and they'll get it straight out.

It's no longer classed as a kidney stone; it's now wedged in between the pipe connecting the kidney and bladder :S

ouch!! that doesnt sound good, but yeah, typical NHS, cant believe they havent sorted it out

The doctor, bless her, did go into great detail how the procedure was going to happen. Suffice to say there will be no incisions.. which means I already have a hole for them to go through.....

Thank goodness it's a general anesthetic!

yeah mate, i would be too.

can u imagine if it was local and catching a glimpse of something like that ????

no thanks, least you know what to expect now

If it was local I think I would refuse until I got general! On the plus side no scars but apparently the plastic tube they'll probably put in for 2 weeks is almost as painful as the actual problem

TBH, I'm just very grateful it's not something more serious and I will recover from it :)

sounds like ur having a great time mate!! :?
hope u get sorted soon

It's the stress of looking after Karl that has brought it on ;)

Nice to have you back though, we've all missed you :)

Brings a whole new meaning to the term "taking the piss".

Hope it's not too painful, mate ;)
