Patents are passed before manufacture. Apple ain't stupid enough to start building stuff that ain't patented first.

Apart from the visual design. Apple build before patenting the final design, as applying form the patent would release the design publicly.
 
Heard on the radio that it takes a pic of u so your the only one who can unlock it when u wanna tex or use it

If that is the case they're on dubious grounds. Photo unlock is already patented (and in use) elsewhere. (Unless of course they have decided to pay the relevant royalties)

By all means, if you like it then go for it. It's a very personal choice which which you like to actually use on a day to day basis more. But surely saying you'll have it before knowing what the specs are and what it's like (and actually being able to compare it to its rivals) is like signing up now for the next twingo!
 
do find it quite amusing the new power cord looks nice but means it has a new plug inside the phone so all the ppl who bought apple accessories before the iphone5 means you need to buy adaptors or something

for all the old apple accessories till now the stuff you have in your home and car and etc etc.. will not be able to fit anymore

Good Job apple >_> i still do not understand what ppl find so great about this company ....
 
Unless they're bringing a Steve Jobs (nicked from Columbo) style just one more thing, it's a "catch up" release
