Its only gona cost me 30 quid to try it at the most so may aswell have a go lol
the way they made the exhaust in 3 sections it will be easy to switch from back box to straight pipe.

Thats exactly why i thought to try it! Clamp on clamp off lol

easy change over. just purchased the parts hopefully there here on the weekend

Nice, let me know how you get on :)
also gives a nice burble on lift off

How much it it martin and with it fit the twingo

€269 + postage from italy, not sure what that comes to all in probably the £300 mark, pricey for a decat but protoxide stuff is top notch! their manifold for the TCE is €800!!

and yeah fits both the clio and the twingo

yes mate it will still need swapped over at mot time, its hard to tell from the description but i think it comes with a mini cat that screws into the lambda location then lambda screws into it so it fools the ECU into thinking the cat is fitted and working.

If I'd had a car that had more room to easily swap out the cat would be ideal but I don't feel like dismanteling my driveshaft to replace it for MOT and reversing the process again.. damnation!

Could you not just remove the cat then put a section underfloor that's removable so you could slot a cat in there for mot or is it not as easy as the theory?

Cool...I'd like to do it too at some point see how loud it is then lol. What about the pre and post cat lambda sensors?

Still have them... :) I think I'm gonna try getting hold of a sports cat instead though

As in tap new threads in the new pipe and extend the sensor wiring?

yep you could do that and as above extend sensor wiring, re fitting the cat on a 182 takes me about 3 minutes including jacking where a 172 is a 40 minute job! due to being up the back of the engine

And the 133 takes hours and hours :(

Interesting info, a sports cat..

I'll contact the guy who did my exhaust and see if he's willing to do this.
