I don't have a boot light :'( I've been wanting to do something similar to this for a while and also place some not so bright blue leds in the door trims without going all need for speed

Don't need to be all fast and furious if it's done right.

Could always get an OEM boot light and install it that way.

I'm pretty sure I don't have any wiring for a boot light :/ I think I'll have to go from the battery to the LED lights then to a interior light delay and hook up to something that lights up when the doors open and turns off when the doors close (I'm guessing there's switch in the drivers door?)

Run it off a 12v as above. I don't have a boot light either

Some LEDs to light the glove box wouldn't go amiss either... Just a few in the top or side.

Ooo now that would be useful ... I keep a torch in mine so I can see in it haha!

I just tried this and i cant get my splicers to work on the thin cable in the boot light so now im gonna have to chop this and that and then just use connectors to try and connect everything back together, so long but hopefully it will be worth it!

haha I called it a day as there was a lot of rain, I'll let you know if I get it done today and if my car still works by the end of the day

The only way I could get the wires to connect as my splicers werent working was to cut the wire for the boot light and attach the wire straight to my footwell lights

Could of easily attached the boot light back up with the same wire? Soldered and heatshrinked. Done.

problem is I'm a student with little tools and little spare cash, I'll re attach it once im home with better tools

Don't even have to solder it you could just botch it with leccy tape and It would hold fine! :)
