Tbh the gaps in the origanal grill are huge anyway so dnt think it make much differance if I left it off Lol

I have been thinking about putting some other type of grill in like what Blacktwingo-I did but want the gaps big enough to see the cooler but not to big so it would help deflect large stones and pices of debree.

There you go, that's what was on mine before.

Yeah that's it. Il do something very similar but black grill for me of course.

You can see how much crap would usualy hit the intercooler from looking at your bumper! Lol

So then, now the house move is complete and im not living out of carboard boxes it is time to sort out the FMIC.....

here is the twingo in its new home..

once this was off we messured up, found the centre point and marked where the new holes where going to be and out came the drill.

i would consider the above the easy part so far! :D things where about to get a whole lot more tricky!!
the bumper wouldnt go back on! no matter what we tried it wasnt having any of it! this is when me and mike took it upon are selfs to become "butchers"

armed with sharp knifes, stanley blades, chisel and hammer we set about totaly butchering the bumper, this is what we hacked off....

im very pleased with the end result and i think it suits the car very well. the bottom lip of the bumper needs a little TLC now but il get round to that and proberly carbon wrap it to tidy it up.

i must say a big thanks to mike (blacktwingo-i) for giving up his time to lend a hand! cheers buddy!

let the Criticism commence!! haha

I want to do this to my Wind as well but I'm tired of taking the bumper off..

We did it too many times already.

But it looks suprisingly nice.. although it would have looked more stealthier without the 'Renault'

yeah i know what you mean, idealy i would of liked the "renault" higher but it was hard to judge without it being on the car. chances are il spray over the top of it when it needs touching up in the future.

Haha the pile of plastic shit you had removed from the bumper is identical to mine! was an absolute nightmare to get back on too...

Surprised you didn't try yellow hose sections

i did try and find some but they where so expensive compared to other colours, not many companys make couplers yellow in that size. i spoke to ASH and they said they couldnt get hold of any for me, demon tweeks dnt do yellow either. most places just sell red, blue and black. how ever i have found a comapy called JS performance that can get some. but i had already bought black ones so i just left the idea, might consider chaging them but im happy with the black ones at the mo.
