Looking Sweet Mike, will have too see it in the flesh

Cheers weebob. Arrange a meet and you know il be there :D

What size reducers did you guys use on the small plastic pipe that went on the old intercooler? ( The one that pops out at the bottom of the Engine bay) I'm not happy with the fitment I used as I know it's leaking slightly so need to buy one the right size.

Didn't know you use the same route as me Sam, I want to change it as I'm not really happy with the fitment!
mine fit's okay. i tried the way mike has done it i couldn't get the bumper to go back on. and to go up in the bay behind the rad i think it will need to be reduced to as it is very tight. in mikes picture's it looks like your pipes are reduced when they come off the fmic ??

57mm - 51mm cheapest place for them

Yeah they are all my pipes are 51mm. So the plastic pipe is 51mm too? Iv got a 135 degree silicone elbow that connects to it (well rammed down it should i say) so I need to replace it with proper piping for a better fit.

That looks awesome :) nice work! What size pipework did you use? Need to start researching more for mine ;-)

All pipe work was 51mm mate. Yeah you should have a look into it! Coolers can be bought of eBay for fairly cheap. IMO it's pipe work, couplers and elbows that shoot the price up!

I was proberly at my mums mate she lives a near revoe school.

It's weird you should mention this as I'm sure I saw you (x4 orange wheels was the first thing i noticed) on my way to work last week but this car was identical to yours but it had bright orange wheels. Then mike told me you had changed them.lol you sorted you suspension out yet?

Just a quick update on the intercooler. The car was suffering a slight boost leak at around 4 1/2k this is how I'd set it up 1st time round with a 135 degree elbow.....

The leak was coming from the origanal plastic boost pipe. So I used abit of extra piping I had and changed it slightly........

And hey presto!! No more noise! All sorted now. Think it was all down to a bend I had to put in the elbow to make it all fit and the plastic pipe boost pipe wasn't up for holding air tight.

My bad! Did the bumper go back on okay?

Haha not your fault mate! Maybe you should stick to wood tho!lol only joking. The Bumper went back on ok. Infact it was a little easier because the new pipe didn't touch the fog light like the other one did.
