Does make you wonder why people buy new.
I wouldnt even consider it till it dropped below 10k as its a good car but not worth those sorts of numbers imo as you can always get mint low mileage used performance cars cheaper. Ah well rockstar lives and all that.

It can cost a bit more but if you want it, can afford it and want the perks then why not!
Compared to a 172 CUP it actually represents great value IMO.
Say a 172 CUP was 12,500 in 2001, accounting for inflation that makes it ~£18,000 in today's money.
Now compare the spec. 172 cup came with 4 wheels, some seats and some glass.
The standard car now includes a LOT more kit. And has some well priced options it seems.

I have a few friends that, if they would sell their car, I would never buy it because I know how they drive. My brother is the worse, no way in hell I would touch a car that he drove.
