Really liking the customisation posted above Alex. Been reading up on what in iTunes can be sync'd with Android. Positive news should I decide to change over.

If you're prepared to fiddle about with the customisation stuff on Android then you really can make it look superb and if anything make it simpler for day to day use.

Thing is you need to pick out what images you'll want for your shortcuts so it takes a bit of planning and Googling. Otherwise though once you get the hang of VisualizeR it's pretty straight forward. :)

It's certainly worth the effort to make your tablet a bit more your own. Apparently if you 'root' an Android device, which from what I gather is effectively like Jailbreaking iOS it's even more easy to customise but couldn't tell you any more than that. :)

Rootings awesome. Allows you to overclock your device as well as do more custom stuff with it.

Its the same with jailbreaking though, do it and something goes wrong then your warranty is void. Luckily android is just as easy to recover as ios.

I didnt really know much about android til i got my s3 and now ive experimented with the nexus i really do like it.

I have mine back to original factory spec now though because a warranty at the minute is important
