Interesting teaser Ollie.

How are you going to be controlling them?
Whats your plans for the stack length and filter?

I wonder if the stepper motor from a standard throttle body could be modified to drive the spindle. I'm thinking the MAP sensor plumbing would make it rather difficult to replicate the standard fly by wire...

Im going to try using the stepper motor from the standard Throttle body if i can mange to buy another , otherwise the Itbs have TPS on them and will go for a throttle cable and pedal set-up which will be far easier to do imo.

Need to get a manifold made up from Boggs , but they are sitting on the inlet now. Im wanting the sitting lower with a bit more angle. No plans for a filter yet I just love looking at the Trumpets!

The standard MAP sensor measures the plenum chamber as a whole. So, would you need 4 MAP sensors, with one in each runner behind the throttle butterfly and combine the outputs. Or, just monitor one runner?

dump valve top connector on each runner-> vacuum pipe to each runner -> T pieces or 4 way connector then off to MAP sensor. Along the lines of that anyway should work.

amazing

so you keep the bottom part of the inlet (supporting the injector) and fit ITB on it?

good idea !

Ollie.. when the times comes you're gonna sell your car, I'll deeply consider it. Although being able te drive it legally in Belgium is another case :p

I can't wait to hear how it sounds!

you can import it but its gonna be a hassle to get it legalized and drive worthy here and also take some time long time

Or make a trailer ***** out of it and drag it to trackdays. Screw license plates

Yes, although its isnt the most direct path. But that was a quick mock up , i would really like them to be direct on to the head but space may be an issue . Small radiator possibly.

It will be immense once its ready nontheless!

Honda EK9 50mm core ally maybe? About 500mm wide.

is there enough room for you to have the TB's straight and have elbows on the front of them, for the velocity stacks to fit to. That would allow a much longer length to keep the power band somewhere usable.

Yes it would be possible. Tight but possible.

If i can get hold of a small enough rad , then I will be able to keep the Throttles straight along with Trumpets with no bends.

As for the MAP sensors i think the option Ive said above will cause issues as you will be getting pulses rather then a balanced vacuum which the plenum evens out. So will just do away with the sensor.

Update.

EK9 Radiator ordered. Cant see this leaving enough room at 360mm wide still but will see when it arrives.
Custom Inlet is getting made currently.
Custom Fuel rail being made.

And finally Standalone management ordered. Ive gone down the Emerald K6 ecu route and will probably still use the Original management for using Abs and dash etc.
