Just got an email from BC regarding initial spring rates for the Coilies .
They've chose 7kg/mm Front and 9kg/mm Rear
And obviously if im not happy with them while testing i can get different rates to try out.

Sounds rather harsh. that's 390 and 500lb/in

Clio 182 cup/trophy ran 280 and 500 lb/in, similar suspension and more weight
If your rears are going to be coilover design, located where the shock absorber is mounted, the change of location and different leverage of the spring will mean the same poundage spring will be much harsher as a coilover, compared to standard

Its there first Renault/ and Renaultsport kit developed . shouldnt be too BOINGY , if it is ill just get a lower spring rate .

So 15 July is lOoking good for getting the set then im off for a week .

Got my self another set of Alloys ....... Even rarer Zender Turbo ph1's :D not sure on these though , as they have been painted by previous owner and looks shite. So Diamond cutting again on these back to original . Prefer the Ph2's tho. =D

I personally prefer the first set, but maybe if the second were shiny too...

Received an email containing a photo of my coilovers today! Also they are sending a different rear spring setup as they have supposedly improved it.

I thought the black mark was on my screen and just tried rubbing it off!!

When are they being put into use Ollie?

When i receive them to test out next week.
:)

Another thing i was going to say was that they couldn't fit a coilover at the rear as there isnt enough space, which isnt the end of the world as they are giving me the chance to say if i want a lower setup etc. so we shall see how low can we go.....
