Thankyou for the pictures.

I couldnt say if a rear brace was sufficient. I am not a structural engineer so wouldnt want to start giving advise as to the specific modifications necessary on a range of vehicles regarding such a crucial aspect of vehicle design.

Basically Im not qualified to answer your question. Its a mute point though as there still isnt sufficient room for a true coilover on the back of the Twingo.

The R2 has a different rear beam by the looks of some photos , and as has been said there is relatively no room.

Orb ill Pm you.

Loving your car Ollie.

Coilies look fantastic. Be good once you get the ITB's on.

orbital" selling my car at moment so dont mind lending part to you ollie for time beiing said:
Thanks for the offer, I've e-mailed Ollie with what we would need. The factory would need them for ~2weeks, with the time to post them from you to us to them and back you would be out them (1 side only) for about a month.

If this would be OK we could develop the kit with topmounts :)

In terms of progress for tweaking the rear, we are looking at getting a new spring wound for the Twingo. However we are going to be limited with the min/max ride height at the rear the total adjustment will be ~20mm so if we get the rear to lower ~50mm at the lowest ride-height, then the minimum drop would be ~30mm

i'll try and post it to you tomorrow. mind it'll be 2nd class as im a poor cheap sod! lol. take your time as my cars being sold without afterm suspension so in no rush.
have a gander at cliosports.com (sorry for linking) you'll see a few cars in projects section running front camber mounts to give you quick feel before you recieve mine

1 sweedish hooker should do the trick! every body needs a bit of viking now and again. hehe

How about a Norwegian hooker , Im in Norway at the moment haha some actual Scandinavian sluts here haha walking round I don't know where to look lol.

met one a few weeks ago. the flith factor is legendary! right but to camber and suspension talk it is. lol
BC- know anyone in the industry that could make poly bushes? tried the big two and not on their list for a while which is a shame as they cover the rest of the Rensport range and its greatly needed (cant be sticking with a welded gearbox mount)

Poly bushes - I would have thought powerflex or somebody similar would make a bush if there is demand - so maybe approach them as a club rather than an individual if you can organise that with the mods?

Camber Topmounts:
Do you want to post them direct to me to save time?

will get around to posting it tomorrow for you

seriously i though 1st class ment there next day, not 4 days as it good come tuesday. oh well lol

The factory have confirmed they are making a spring that's 15mm shorter, to allow a further 15mm drop. They are also redesigning the spring seat to allow the use of both the 12mm and 6mm spacer to allow a 18mm increase in the rear ride height from the minimum setting. The min & max rear ride-height drop will then be approx -30mm to -50mm. The Front has much more adjustment and can go from approx -20mm to -80mm with Ollie running -60mm in the pictures you see. However with a 80mm drop at the front your wheel will be jammed in the arch and wont turn!

Hopefully in a few weeks Ollie will the testing the new shorter rear spring and also the camber topmounts that we hope to develop along the lines of the design as posted earlier this thread - with thanks to Orbital :)

i await my free mcdonalds voucher :D

would be nice if you could make a plate that sites over the rear suspension underneath the bolt that could be welded/extra bolts to the rear panel.
must like you do for your other coilie kits at the front where there bolted down via the strut top and onto the body panel :D
