Maybe incorporate a route coming back from Chipping Norton. There are some nice long roads but some decent corners to!

Chipping Norton?! That's the opposite direction! lol.

I'd say the only logical way to Northants from Upper Heyford is either up to Ardley and blast up the A43 or go via Deddington, Croughton etc, but either way will be ok

I like the idea of Salcey Forest. Never been but I know people who have and says its a nice place. Maybe go M40 to Banbury then run up the hill on B422 then B4525 to the A43? Normally go B4525 on the bike when I want a ride out and is a nice windy road.

Yeah or from Upper Heyford, join the old road (A4260) at Hopcrofts Holt, through Banbury and out towards the B4525 that way.

MK is about 20 minutes quicker usually. My brother works in the place where this is being held he rents the old american airbase storage units out

If anyone coming down from the Midlands (Birmingham/Warwickshire) wants to convoy down to Heyford from Banbury down the back roads with me let me know and we can arrange something, its about a 15 min drive out from Banbury town centre down some back country lanes.
