There's a chance we might be able to take some photos on the airfield in Upper Heyford as anyone can go on to the airfield apparently. The security take down names and registation numbers

Dubz, is that something you can look in to? Or James as I'm guessing your still with TVP!

Yeah still with TVP an if Dubz knows the ins an out I think he's got himself a job!

Ok people 40 mins too the Pub via the A43 or we want some country roads an more time In the cars?

Where the "SALCEY car park" tag is is the overflow carpark ideal for photos!

And then if anyone wants to go for a walk this is the rest of the site

Yeah I'll find out by Monday. My brother leases out the old hangers in the airbase for storage.

I know for a fact that the run way has about 3000-5000 cars on it. Also it used to be the second longest runway in Europe (learning can be fun!)

Awesome if you can do that Dubz! I'm down for whatever James, I'll leave it to a public vote! Lol

Don't they use the Heyford runway for car experience days? Hmmm. I used to work on Heyford Park, normally you need a badge/permit in your car windscreen, unfortunately I don't have this in my Twingo as I'm no longer based there.

James - the main gate security at Heyford is manned by TVP so you may be able to make some enquiries? :)

Really looking forward to this meet! It's gonna be great.

Ok so i'm going to go country road cursing very shortly, and i plan to make a little route map for you if we go country routes!

I also have a GPS tracker App on my phone so you should be able to watch progress for a laugh!! i'll add details here shortly if I can set it up to allow people just to view

Ok so it maps my current route and allows you to see where i've been, of course not at the moment as I'm at home not running it, but after 1400 i shall be so feel free to check back and laugh at the backwards and forwards route!

He was moving on mine. I watched him go over a roundabout :)

Ok so glad a few got to watch the route unfold!

I shall upload the google map route shortly and then also a route book if people wish to drive it with directions, mileages to follow and little tulip diagrams!

Route to the pub lasts about 50mins and covers country roads mainly with a few narrow sections and some open lanes where you can fling it in! Anyway I'm gonna leave some of you guessing for now!
