does seem like it as they knew where to look before they were detected ^_^ fishy fishy
pain in the arse but i trust sony encryption would hold out at least 3/4 days when the list was stolen to allow me to cancel card and order new one

Say it did take 3/4 days, no company in the world would be like "We've had a breach, which hackers are continuing to do. Don't worry though it'll take them 3/4 days to complete it so plenty of time for members to cancel their cards, at their inconvenience obviously"

So what is it, like 2 weeks now. How can they "get their money back" for a service that is already free?

Some people pay i think about £60 a year for a special PSN service where you get a free arcade style game free every month and free content, so there the only people really who deserve compensation

there going to be covering those poeople with month back and another free month on top of one they missed or ment to. as well as dishing out to those developers whos games are based on DLC. least they know how to get on their knees and beg. but they just dug a massive hole by staffing press release and in drips and drabs

Thats good then at least they will be getting something as the price of the membership is quite high to be cut off for that long!
I know many people who were very true PS3 gamers have traded theres in for xbox 360's, Sony need to do something amazing to keep some people now, im not bothered as I have both and never play much on the PS3 anyhow online

Is it going to be back online for the 20th? LA Noire comes out and it's heavily online orientated. Rockstar must be screwing at Sony.

Not happy. I couldn't care less about online stuff; I like it but it's not overly me. I do, however, care about being able to download the case files for LA Noire.

Is it still down? It was supposed to be back up on the 4th but I did go on last weekend and installed an update, then tried to login to PSN and it wouldn't let me. I was like "Eh? It was meant to be back on the 4th??"... It's a real PITA. Hope they sort it soon otherwise I'll have to consider selling my PS3.

This is now back to working and for those that don't know, log back in within the next 2 weeks and downloads a few welcome back bits like free games and free premium service etc.
