So I need a new rear arch, only a small scuff on mine. Still no idea who actually did it :(

I've also done a search and asked a couple of people but no actual definitive answer, I may just bite the bullet... But is a facelift rear arch extension compatible with a prefacelift? From the pics I've tried lining up they look the same shape and length, but it's really not easy to call it like that from a picture

I just like the idea of the faux grills updating the rear ever so slightly

For anyone who might help who's not got what I'm after

A low res Bodge pic I made on my phone

If you think about it, its just a facelift/change of a few panels.. Its still the same shell, still the same main body.. So i think it would fit, just as long as the clips were the same, which i dont think they would change, depends if there was a clip on the original 133 where the air outlet is, cause wouldnt there be a big hole there?

I know what I'm thinking too, especially in white it would make the car look wide from the back

It's also not an actual grill, just a faux grill. Like the abarth 500 has them.

That and the roof wrapped again ill be happy.

I think I remember someone asking over on the RS forums and being told it might not fit due to the rear bumper panel having been changed in shape. Will see if I can dig out that thread...

I didn't look there! Neil mentioned it had been asked so I thought he meant here  I agree the bumper has but the side profile doesn't look different. And it's £38 for the piece so I may take a punt at it

Oh and if anyone knows if it comes with the faux grill it would be much appreciated. My regular parts man is a little slow (and balding)

What's wrong with balding? I'm receding badly and I'm only 20, at this rate ill be bald within a few years

Oh and also without information! I would order the arch and grill if you knew more lol

According to our parts man the part number for a facelift is the same as pre facelift. So same shape. However, it doesn't show the faux grills. So possibly not the same

Hi!

Well I also wanted to fit ph. 2 rear arches and went to see one of my dealers couple of days ago. They had a facelifted Twingo RS in the shop, he checked the VIN and got me the item code. When parts arrived, they were same shape as ph. 1 and without grills :? At first I was angry, but now I kinda like the idea of cutting out my custom grills (probably bigger). We'll see what comes out of it, I just wanted to save you money and nerves. It seems it's impossible to get the ph. 2 arches as the part codes for ph. 1 and ph. 2 are the same, there could be a trick but I'm done with ordering aftermarket parts for Twingo as something goes wrong everytime ;) As the guy in Anchorman said: "60% of the time, it works everytime" ;)

Cheers and good luck, will let you know how things go ;)

Karl found the right code in the end. They're not in the equivalent place. Previously they were under arches/side skirts but now are found under the rear bumper section so your dealer has ordered the incorrect item...

It's £87 delivered from Karl for both sides and we presume it includes grills as it looks like it does and they're not available to order on their own.

Ill be taking a punt on them soon

Just to illustrate on pre facelift:

Im good to you in i maggs i maybe going bald but im **** hot at this game

So this means that people who actually want a diffusor, that was discontinued, can now get one by installing the facelift 133 rear bumper on their car?

Yeah.. Only took you 4 days!

And no, the diffuser is different I want the vents. The diffuser won't fit the facelift.

If you want the new bumper you need the new bumper, the new lights, new boot as far as I can tell.
