if you ever do this pay attention to the symmetry of the middle of your bonnet , cause that guy didn't and in real life it looked weird o_O
Granted, I havent seen the grey Twingo above, but I've seen several smoothed cars before now and the finish rarely looks good with some light on the surface. Compound curves comming to a point must be a nightmare to blend in a new section

It's probably stuck on a speed bump

perhaps the best thing to do would be to get rid of that centre point in the bonnet, smooth it out. i remember when i was sanding my bonnet last year i noticed it started to vannish. pretty sure it won't be a big problem

I was thinking about doing this aswell, you'll have to put up a how to, to see how awkward it is :)

after i install the williams brakes, the next big thing will be the respray of the full car. possibly a better idea to wait until just before it's due in the bodyshop and i could perhaps snap some pictures to show how to do it properly if you want mate? i am in no way experienced at body work but i understand the basics, leaving final finishing to the guys in the body shops the best bet. getting the hole filled in will save money

Yeah that'd be great mate! Just so we can get an idea, I don't have much of an idea aswell, dad says he will give me a hand, lucky for me he's not too bad with stuff like that! :)
And yeah leave it to them to be sprayed properly, what's colours the car gonna be then? ;)

WR Blue 02C, it isn't too far off the current renault blue. it's just a deeper pearl. car has a few scratches and scuffs, so will just be doing the entire car minus the black parts in the subaru blue. i got a fantastic mates rates offer that i couldn't refuse for 600

Should look good when it's done then! :) and yeah I wouldn't be complaining at that price either!

How much are you getting a full respray for?? Oh i see now. Thats a bloody bargain. I had a look to see how much a full wrap of my car is at it was about £1200. i have a big dent on the side of my car. So may save up a few months and get everything done in one haha.

I haven't read everything, but just to bring my 2 cents :

my car is on AST coilovers with camber plates. It's low, not much clearance between the tires and the arches, but it doesn't rub, even on full load, but the setup is stiff so there's not 10cm of travel, rather more like 5-7 maximum. I currently don't have any camber, but used to have 2° negative on all corners. Still it doesn't rub.
I have 16" rims, ET35 (so, 20mm more outwards than stock), and standard size 16" tires (195/45/16 I think?).

I t can go much lower as I have 7cm more thread on the rear coilovers, and about the same on the front. At the lowest point, it would just rub everywhere and smash the arches at the first bump on the road.

Sorry for the possible ignorance to your thread Anthony but when did you get the Comps?! :O
