Strap a turbo to 133 so same as gt then see who wins plus I recon the 133 will be restricted a fair bit I mean ktecs new exhaust set up has proven good gains plus cams are here now the argument isn't starting to be the same anymore

That's true, on the plus side we will now have a new manifold too so that should be interesting on gains!

:D i'm actually bored of this already, who'd have thought they'd see me saying that lol.

True.

The 133 is a better car if you don't want to throw as much money in it and already has good handling and power and looks better lol

The GT is good for normal day to day driving and with work done to it makes it a small relatively fast car which I think has better driveability due to the torque.

The i-music is just a pure beasty looking car, that has the potential to smoke 133s and GTs..
But chooses not to

Everyone buy I-Musics now :D

Thanks for including me waity.. I-musics require this kind of recognition..

black i-music, you crack me up fella hahaha. i only laugh because i know your i-music is packing more horses than all the 133 and GT owners on here have combined. you broke the dyno's up north i heard? brings new meaning to sleeper, cause it leaves you in a deep sleep that you don't wake up from right? :D

the 133 better suits people who want a cheap entry level but still awesome hot hatch without any tinkering.
the GT (and im talking in modified form not standard form) suits those of us who like tinkering, i get satisfaction from chassing something more expensive with a bigger engine in my little 1.1 turbo!, in the same way i enjoyed chasing all sorts of jap crap round knockhill in my 172's and 200!

Basically once tuned there is very little to choose. If I ever pull up next to a GT I will certainly not underestimate it. Foot will be hard to the floor!!!

maybe it should be 133/GT (modified) versus the rest of the world exept japan, for obvious reasons!

lol at the 197/200 gearbox gremlins. My mates silver stone had to go back for a new box under warranty under a year old!!

Head work, cams, injectors ect is all costing loads of money with labour, and ull need an exhaust, ind kit ect. Could cost a few k. And dont forget about the remap, fuel pump ect
A easyer option would to put in a higher power engine and could possibly be cheaper. How about a vxr corsa engine? For a 200bhp twingo this would be the cheepest route and one im currently looking at and saving for. standard engine, gearbox and custom exhaust and ur good to go apart from brakes and suspension. I recon if u spent 5k on it ud have a turbo'd monster over 300bhp and in a car thats a ton :)

Not gonna be much in it but the 133 is the far better looking car. Hence I couldn't ever make myself own anything other than the rs. Same goes for the megane and Clio. None of the standard range does it for me

i think the idea Rob, is to build on what you have. you'd be cheaper buying the vxr itself, as its about 1500+ for the engine, then you're gonna need the box and drive shafts and every single auxiliary not to mention the ecu's and the wiring looms, all the sensors and ton of other things which i wont mention. if that's you're plan rob, go down the route of the clio 182 engine or the F4R megane engines / clio engines in general. the auxiliaries are interchangable within reason, it's already been done check out 'jordysportracing' and if you've got the cash waiting to go, i think everybody on here would tell you that he's the boy in the know when it comes to this and he's worth every single penny! we'll all be keen to see what goes on

Im not ready yet but end of next year i should be. I love my cup, its finally a car thats brought a smile back to my face after i sold my skyline. The car as standard is quick enough for most ppl but i want more like most ppl here :) a 2ltr engine might be too big? But what ever i do i plan for over 200bhp minimum and a turbo!

But then as with any engine conversion... Why not buy a bigger car :p.

Cheaper to do so and cheaper on insurance.

yeah man, my 385bhp twin turbo s14a nissan silvia is cheaper for me to insure than a 133 and only slightly more expensive than my GT on a single policy, mad how that works eh?
